2025-26 Game Thread: Knicks @ Nets

The Knicks have at least luckily hit a stretch of games where even a struggling Knick team should be able to defeat the Nets with ease. I legit don’t know at least two of the Nets’ starters off the top of my head. I know MPJ, Claxton and Terance Mann start, but beyond them…Clowney, maybe?

So, yeah, this better be a win.

Let’s go, Knicks!

58 is still possibly great!

At the game with my little guy and he’s about to explode if Claxton sinks this FT to make the score 6-7

I hate how they pump loud sound at Barclays. It makes it a very unpleasant arena experience, and is not great even for the broadcast.

If they didn’t pump loud music you could hear a pin drop in here. This place is a mausoleum.

But I did get three tickets to tonight for the price of one ticket to Friday vs the Bucks @ MSG, and my 7 year old doesn’t know the difference (actually I’m not sure if my 80 year old dad does, either).

Not a good sign that the Nets of all teams can get an uncontested 3 or shot at the rim every possession.

At least the offense looks terrible.

Hello…(hello…hello…hello…)

Well I don’t care, I’m having fun watching Kolek.

Kolek with the rush to the rim!

Bouncing and announcing…

This is a fun defense first lineup despite having KAT at C

All our kids are doing well! Mostly on the defensive end, but that’s something.

The defense has not been good, the Nets have just been missing. You can’t allow 24 3PAs in 22 minutes.

You would think the Knicks would have the fresher legs tonight. But then again, the Nets are the youngest team in the league

Josh Hart is our best three-point shooter tonight.

I’m still against the trade, but there are moments when I’d rather see Anthony Davis in street clothes than KAT doing stupid things.
