2016-17 Game Thread: Knicks vs. Kings

The Knicks continue a nice string of winnable games with tonight’s matchup at home against the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings are not a terrible team, but nor are they particularly good. It will be fun to watch Boogie Cousins play, though!

Joakim Noah practiced in full today, so I suspect he’ll play. It would be great to see him play in an actual win for a change.

Let’s go, Knicks!

  • 2016-17 Game Thread: Knicks vs. Timberwolves

The Knicks host the Timberwolves on the second half of their dumb home and home series (why are these two teams doing a home and home is still beyond me).

The Timberwolves lost to the Knicks on Wednesday despite Karl-Anthony Towns playing one of the best games that you would ever see and the Wolves being at home. The second of those things won’t be true tonight and it seems highly unlikely that the first will be repeated, as well (as simply, who has games like Towns did back-to-back? Nobody, that’s who).

So the Knicks really, really should win this game. The rest of the Wolves are not particularly good, so if the Knicks beat them when their best player was spectacular, it is unlikely that they would lose again. So hopefully this is an easier win. Boy, I don’t like the Wolves.

    Let’s go, Knicks!
