If you’re in on the East Coast right now, hopefully you’re handling the snow well. My wife went out for bagels this morning and here was the front door of our apartment building – I can only imagine what it looks like now.
Anyhow, the Knicks luckily got in last night safe and sound at 2am. And their next game is not until Tuesday, so they won’t have to rush back home. Two games in the NBA have already been postponed tonight (Boston/Philadelphia and Utah/Washington) but since the Hornets play Sacramento Monday, they couldn’t push this one to Sunday.
Anyhow, the Hornets last night came back from 19 points down to win in overtime. They will play the Knicks tonight without “Future Knick Star” Nicolas Batum, Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller and Jeremy Lamb. So come on, they played and won an overtime game last night, they’re down four of their rotation players. This simply has got to be a win for the Knicks.
The Knickerbockers are playing without Lance Thomas, as well, as they figured it was better to give him a couple more games to get right.
Oh, and the Knicks play OKC on Tuesday, so, well, come on, dudes, you really need to get to .500 tonight to avoid possibly going three under against OKC (plus, I’ll be at the game on Tuesday, and I would be very happy to see them have a chance of going over .500 against OKC) with a road game against Toronto to follow.
Walker and Lin will likely be driving a lot, but the Hornets’ front line is so thin that Melo, RoLo and Porzingis should do really well.
Let’s go Knicks!
