I really didn’t believe Deuce had it in him and I’m so damn happy he’s playing so well. So great to see how much he has worked to be here and how much it’s paying off, trading Quick and Grimes becomes so much less impactful now that it opened minutes for him to do this.

All of RJ, IQ, Grimes and Obi are very likable kids, and I miss each one in his own way. But in terms of rootability, DDV, Deuce, OG, and Precious are about as good of a replacement crew as I could have hoped for.
Speaking of RJ, it was really heartbreaking to see him on the bench, knowing what he has been going through. IQ also lost a family member. It is sad that they are on such a spark-less team, probably tears their guts out to see the Knicks winning and not being a part of it. Alas…
I’d prefer Grimes to Bojan right now but Grimes isn’t healthy so that makes it easier to swallow.
