The Knicks head to OKC for their first game without Julius Randle, who is in COVID protocols.
This should be fascinating.
Let’s go, Knicks!

Holy shit, folks, the Knicks are heading into Detroit to take on a shitty Detroit Pistons team that is in the middle of a COVID outbreak, so their already shitty roster is somehow even shittier than normal. I think Bill Laimbeer might be suiting up tonight.
So, Knicks, you better win this won, okay? The Knicks have already won two in a row for the first time since October and now they get to beat up on a Detroit team that is legit starting: Derrick Walton Jr., Frank Jackson, Hamidou Diallo, Saddiq Bey, Luka Garza. Holy shit, people! And the Knicks are only favored by 8 points!
If the Knicks pull this off (and oh man, could you even imagine them not winning this one?), they’ll actually probably move up to the #9 seed in the Eastern Conference. Good time to get healthy, Knickerbockers!
Let’s go, Knicks!
The Knicks head to Minensota to take on the COVID-ravaged Timberwolves, who had to pick up Greg Monroe, who hadn’t played in three years, and plug him into their rotation after he showed up just a couple of hours before the game began…and they still beat the Celtics.
Still, the Knicks desperately need to take advantage of their opportunity here to win two games in a row for the first time in far too long.
Let’s go, Knicks!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Enjoy a hopefully halfway decent basketball game!
The Knicks host the Wizards, who will be without their star player, Bradley Beal, so that’s good news.
Also, Toppin and Grimes are back tonight, but no RJ yet (perhaps RJ was actually sick sick? Seems hard to imagine him needing more conditioning than those two otherwise).
They really need to win this one to get their playoff chances back on target, and they really should win this one, so let’s hope that they do just that!

It’s funny, this is one of those games where even shorthanded, the Knicks seem to have way more talent than their mostly healthy roster (granted, the Pistons are missing their best player, future Laker Jerami Grant).
So the Knicks really, really need to pull this one out. I wonder how long Kemba Walker will continue to pull a Garry Templeton…

Ok I’m giving away two (2) tickets to tomorrow’s (Tuesday’s) game against the Detroit Pistons! As per the last time, a kind person has decided to buy three pairs of my tickets to donate to our KnickerBlogger community. This is the second leg of that spirit of giving. (Ignore the aborted attempt on 12/12, since I did the contest too late, and ended up selling them at the game.)
Today’s contest is simple. Just comment below with any player the Knicks traded away for Carmelo Anthony in 2011, even if the player didn’t end up in Denver. BUT you can’t name a player that someone else has made (So if someone says Player X, you can’t answer Player X, you’ll have to say Player Y). I’ll randomly pick one of the correct commenters below in the morning to give the tickets to!
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE TICKETS!
Good luck & enjoy!
The Knicks head to Boston tonight and with Derrick Rose out and half the team in COVID protocols, Kemba Walker is now not just playing for the Knicks again, but STARTING.
You can’t make this weird shit up.
Luckily for the Knicks, while COVID has taken away most of the players we most want to see, the remaining guys are still a reasonable approximation of an NBA team, so this should be fun. It would also be mice to see the Knicks move past the Celtics in terms of “Wow, we’re much worse than we thought we would be, but at least we’re better than you.”

The Knicks head to Houston to take on the shorthanded Rockets in a game that the Knicks simply have to win, even though they are shorthanded themselves.
This would be so darn embarrassing of a loss, let’s hope that it doesn’t happen.

Well, this might get ugly. The Knicks host the #1 seed in the entire NBA, the Golden State Warriors, as their Hall of Fame point guard, Steph Curry, is setting to set the NBA record for the most three-pointers ever made. So, you know, this is going to be a big game.
Maybe the Knicks can shock the world and beat the Warriors even with a bunch of guys out due to COVID!
Hey, weirder things have happened!
