Jowles I was referring to Melo as far as reputation. Plus I figure there’s gotta be a few meddling teams somewhere that love his volume pointz!

LBJ keeps saying he wants to play with Melo, so the Lakers?

i’m guessing that pelinka and magic are much smarter than that…besides, they got beasely (who almost never plays) to do what melo can…

lakers are trying to build on defense and pace…neither of which melo ever really excelled at…

other than improving their “culture” and acquiring young players, i’m not really sure what style the knicks are trying to develop…

What’s the point of making THJ play through plantar fascitiis?

so crazy that we ever signed timmy, lee does the same job better, and, at a smaller cost…

I doubt Tim was ever gonna raise his value to where trading him would benefit us. Let him chuck us to the 1st spot on a bad foot.

I’d rather fracture my fibula again than deal with planta fascitiis. It’s so goddamn painful and there’s really nothing you can do except rest and stretch.

There’s nothing to be gained by playing him unless they were trying to get his value up. Sounds like a football team’s mentality about injuries.

I’m predicting the Mudiay-sance (though I’m not sure it can be a renaissance when you were never good to begin with) gets derailed for at least tonight- He won’t be able to bully Simmons and Embiid will be waiting for him if he does get to the rim. In their last meeting Mudiay went 1-5 with 1 assist in 20 minutes in one of the team’s worst performances of the year- I’m not sure tonight will be any better.

If he goes cold tonight can we call him Brrrr-Mudiay?

i couldn’t remember what started those early AD and Lebron teaming up in LA rumors…it was AD moving to agent rich paul with klutch sports this september…rich paul and LBJ being good friends…

Topic for conversation since this game will probably be over by the second quarter- Is Zion a better prospect than Doncic?

    THJ playing =
    1. The tank
    2. The Knicks believe they have nothing better with Trier out…

There is a story of an Australian Rules Footballer over here that was dealing with plantar facitis during a season. He became so fed up with the recovery and the pain, that he jumped off a table in his home to deliberately rupture his plantar fascia so he could have the surgery to release the tendon and reduce the tension and the pain quicker.

Probably, yeah. It’s not, like, a landslide or anything like that, but yes, most likely.

When you roll out a lineup of Knox, Mudiay, Kornet, Thomas and Dotson you probably don’t have to worry about the tank too much

Stratomatic "I'm tired of the Knicks paying lip service to DEFENSE. Get defenders & two-way players. Then play them!says:

The Wizards are sneaky not as bad as they look. 🙂

When they are in the mood to defend they aren’t as bad as the data indicates. Ariza helps and if they use Baker selectively, he’ll fit right in alongside their guards . They still have a shot to make a run for the 6th seed and annoy someone better than them in the playoffs. 🙂

I could swear I saw Frank set a screen in the paint that freed up Dot for an open three, but I’m recovering from a cold and still have a fever. Was it a hallucination?

Literally anyone is better than Wally. Like, give Breen a sock puppet and let him do a funny voice for it.

    @23

Pretty sure you were hallucinating because if you weren’t that sounds like we ran an actual offensive play instead of everyone doing their best Kobe impression.

I have to say, Nerlens Noel would look damn good at PF/C on the Sixers. Might be the best starting 5 in the East.

These pats few games shows how much M Rob does for the defense in his 20 min/game…..

@25 I might watch the replay just to check. And it’s always possible that it was an accident.

Yeah, I just came here to bitch about Wally, too. How does he manage be wrong *all the time*???

He just said he likes Boston more than Toronto “bc they’ve been together through so many more games.”

No, Wally, they really haven’t!! The raptors have been around a while, too, and Kyrie played as many playoff games with his current team as Kawhi has.

The Wizards need defense so adding Ariza and Baker makes sense for them. I am happy for Baker.

Damn, Knox can score in a lot of ways for such a young kid. I still wonder if he’s ever going to learn shot selection. When you can score from everywhere on the court in every possible way, it’s harder to learn when to shoot than if all you can do is dunk or shoot spot up 3s.

Stratomatic "I'm tired of the Knicks paying lip service to DEFENSE. Get defenders & two-way players. Then play them!says:

Knox is ugly af but that alley-oop wasn’t

I’m going to guess he gets laid more than either of us, which is pretty much the only reason a young man might care what he looks like. 🙂

It’s a little unfair that we have to huddle around Mitch as our only source of warmth and the Celtics have a top five team and off to the side they’ve got a Mitch of their own

I’m buying some Kevin Knox stock tomorrow. He needs to learn to get to the line and rebound better, so I’m not going all in. But I’m cool being long some Knox.

This is a perfect tank game. They’re fun to watch while getting blown out. Perfect.

I appreciate that they’re keeping it just close enough that there’s no danger we’ll actually win.

I find myself in a strange place. I feel like it’s very unlikely we get a star in free agency because we are too damn bad. So we need someone really good in the draft. But I also feel that if we are bad enough to get in the top 3, that means Frank and Knox aren’t doing much, KP either didn’t come back or wasn’t any good when he did, Robinson didn’t pick it up in the 2nd half etc.. That means the path to being good is going to be like a 1000 year war. It’s hard to get to a point where I’m enthusiastic about what we have AND we get a potential star.

I know we’re short handed but Fiz is really riding his starters like it’s a playoff game

@46 Neither. Fizdale dumps slops on the floor just far enough away that their chains don’t let them reach it.

Stratomatic "I'm tired of the Knicks paying lip service to DEFENSE. Get defenders & two-way players. Then play them!says:

This is too depressing for me. I’m going to watch last night’s episode of Ink Master.

Holy fuck is my prediction about the Suns going on a run and possibly beating the Celtics coming true?

Also, Brooklyn and Chicago have combined for 79 points at the half. Real high octane stuff.

@46 Mario is distracted by the same invisible thing that makes him lose his defensive assignment allowing Trey to feast uncontested.

Wilson Chandler has that blank look of the guy who lives in your friend’s dorm suite who could be either a brilliant future philosophy PhD or has smoked himself completely braindead, but he never talks enough for you to figure it out
