Call him Mr. November. The Knicks have a lot of issues, but none more concerning than what to make about Kristaps Porzingis’ third straight post-Christmas decline. The entire franchise is built upon Porzingis becoming a superstar for the ages, contending for greatest-Knick-ever status. And while he should become a perennial All-Star, the franchise needs him…

Is Trey Burke active for today’s game?
So only Orlando and Sacramento have been worse than us in the last 10 games. Teams like Utah(Gobert) / Memphis(Conley) should pass us and Chicago/CHA/PHO/BKN aren’t far behind. The 6th pick seems within striking range with 4th being there if everything breaks right for us.
It sucks to think that Jarett Jack cost us a real shot at Doncic this year.
We are only 5.5 lost games behind the 4th worst record. It’s so doable. Which sucks, be cause other teams always seem to know how to tank better than us.
The over/under on Lance’s points + rebounds + assists + steals + blocks today is 6.5.
Lance is basically Jared Jeffries redux.
I’ll gladly take the under.
Maybe if we combine Lance + Baker’s counting stats they’ll reach 10.
Ugh the Jared Jeffries years… I thought they’d be buried in the back of my mind forever.
You left out intangibles and hustle plays
Jared Jeffries actually was good on defense. He was overpaid but his second stint when he was here on the vet minimum wasn’t bad. He was a key part of the linsanity run.
I’m honestly pretty torn on Lance Thomas. On one hand, he’s a tanking aficionado. On the other hand, he is fucking infuriating to watch play professional basketball.
Seriously, if I see one more “pump-fake-a-relatively-open-three-in-order-to-take-the-worst-shot-in-the-NBA” my TV may be no longer.
This thing where they pass up makable 3’s to take tough 2’s is what bugs me the most. Worse, on defense they play like the other team is going to do the same thing and give them wide-open 3’s.
The Trey Burke era starts. Let’s see if he can chuck with the best of them! Good luck Trey. Live up to that name!
Fultz’s jump shot as of today.

Well, between Jared’s decent defense and Lance’s “shoots 41% on 3s but takes 1 per game” routine, I would be glad if I had not watched a single minute of them playing.
In defense of Jeffries, the man was a wizard at taking charges. Which is the best possible outcome of a defensive possession – a turnover and a personal foul.
But he totally sucked at most other aspects of basketball.
