2015-16 Game Thread: Knicks vs Grizzlies

Well, that‘s not a good piece of news before the game begins. Carmelo Anthony is out for the game due to his knee (hopefully they’re just being conservative because of the back-to-back games and not something much more worrisome) and Lance Thomas is out because he is in the concussion protocol (which means he will miss Sunday’s game, as well, as he wouldn’t be eligible to play until Tuesday).

Sooo….well…this will be a tough game for the Knicks to win.

However, they played the Grizzlies fairly tight without Melo the last time they played, so maybe they’ll have a chance at home. Beyond the whole “they desperately need a win” stuff, a win would also be nice to stick it to Matt Barnes, who will play tonight.

Let’s go, Knicks!
