Pre-playoff Bridges
Over/under for Tatum shot attempts – 30?
Knicks not gonna win if Brunson and KAT are the 2 worst players on the court.
Pritchard might be the most underrated player in the NBA.
I don’t think the Knicks have ever completed a successful alley oop on a fast break.
Mitch is incredible.
@Al
There we go lol.
Also we’re so lucky to have Mitch who seems to have apparent blood feud with Boston
Raptors whooping the Heat again.
Maxey 0 points with half of the first quarter gone by.
I take it back Hart has been by far the worst player on the court.
Things I cannot stand in an NBA Broadcast:
– The constant use of the word “BOTTOM”
– Watching Peyton Pritchard, on replay, commit two offensive fouls while he gets a shot off and nobody mentions it, except to say “how tough he is”
– Spending more time showing a kid eating candy than on the play
– Hearing the dulcet sounds of Stan Van Gundy’s voice
At the game, harts been terrible, looks slow to everything. Mitch is awesome
A negative Josh Hart game. It’s crazy how bad we look when he is useless
sorry just tuned in. clarkson drives, tries to pass out, everyone just stands there – zero help, hart takes an age before clanking a 3, some defense, hart gets beaten to a rebound by the smallest player on the court, nobody rotates and celtics get uncontested 3s
why is this still a thing?
Boston getting an incredible whistle tonight.
1
that was good suffocating d
and again from OG
and of course refs bail them out
What a frustrating 1st half to watch…
Pritchard and Queta are killing us.
Celtics getting too many O rebounds plus whistle
Knicks can’t get a defensive rebound cause they are scrambling around and over helping so much nobody is in position to box out and grab a rebound.
glad that the prerequisite to be knicks head coach is to ignore stats, the on/off and the eyetest and everything else and continue to play josh in the starting 5.
My sense is that neither team is playing 100%. They are ‘feeling’ each other having in mind their potential playoff match up. My concern is that they are playing us even without Brown and with Tatum 2-11 in the first half. My feeling is that we will win this game. I hope I’m right.
We should have been playing harder as the third place is not at all guaranteed for now, and the teams that have been giving us the most trouble this season are those extra physical ones including Detroit.
Just turned it on and I like what I am seeing. Hitting threes is something to believe in.
Knicks on fire to start the 2nd half!
Love the KAT aggressiveness!
Posting in an old thread…duh!
Our 3pt D is no bueno (shocker!)
This might be a new candidate for worst loss of the season..
We just leave people wide open and not hustling for rebounds
Pritchard getting whatever he wants out there
that brunson hart 2 man game really paying dividends
The narratives if the Knicks blow this game are going to be fun to read and listen to…
We go up 7-0 and blow it. Go up 13 and blow it. Very frustrating
I said it last game and the fact remains I still fucking hate this 3 guard bench lineup.
Did I ever tell you I hate 3 point variance. Smh
The narratives if the Knicks blow this game are going to be fun to read and listen to…
Oh yeah it’s gonna be a feeding frenzy for sure.
Seems like an obvious statement but Mike Brown’s rotations and most importantly minutes allocation is going to determine how far the Knicks go in the playoffs.
Bad call on the Tatum foul
Mazzula really wants this game Tatum might end up playing almost 40 minutes
more PNR at least!
Love that Brunson Towns connection
Towns!!!
The Sheierman game…
This asshole is killing us
Getting torched by Baylor Scheirman wasn’t on my bingo card
This Theo Von motherfucker is making me really angry
1
What a great game
I think I’d rather have Jaylen Brown playing instead of Scheierman..
ok thanks josh
3pt variance strikes again
I take back everything bad I said about Hart earlier in the thread…
Josh you golden god
Josh Curry!!
chipotle real difference maker
JOSSSSSSHHHH HAAAARRRRRTTTTT!!!
That was some playoff caliber play down the stretch. Thank god for Josh.
Crazy how confident Knicks are in close games late vs Boston.
Josh Hart should take open threes. Howe many times have we said it?
He finally listened

Josh Hart is so difficult to read lol. He looked so dead in the first half then comes alive and wins us the game.
Huh?
Josh Hart as a 3 point threat is a total game changer, teams now have to guard all 5 starters and can’t lay off him.
We match up well with Boston except, and this is a big thing, we have not played them with both Brown and Tatum in their lineup. We shall see. It’s absolutely better to avoid Detroit in round 2 and, let’s not forget, we have to get past round 1 to begin with. This will not necessarily be an easy assignment. I can’t wait for the playoffs to start.
Josh Hart is so difficult to read lol. He looked so dead in the first half then comes alive and wins us the game.
Huh?
It’s not hard at all. Look at the forest, not only at the trees.
The question is: do pritchard & scheierman shoot the 3 that well in best of 7? then again, does hart?
still feel daring them to shoot is not a winning playoff strategy (seems to work in regular season)
This year’s final week of the season has gone alot better than last year.
Josh Hart as a 3 point threat is a total game changer,
Hart is a very good shooter and he as to believe that he is. I think he is getting there. This is probably the best achievement of the new Knicks coaching staff or whoever is dealing with this.
Btw Brunson had some exquisite dimes in the 4th quarter

This win doesn’t mean muchl. OTOH.a loss would have raised some eyebrows.
Congrats to Mike Brown on surpassing Thibs for most wins in this run.
Brunson had a sensational game, every bit if a star PG that makes his teammates better.
Shamut doesn’t seem same since latest minor injury. Hope he picks it back up
1
tatum, brown, and white are all great, pritchard’s footwork is looking brunsonesque…
they are weak up front and on the boards…limited rim protection…
Garden was rocking tonight in the 4th, so much fun. Josh admitted he played “like ass” in the 1st half. Josh Hart pls accept my apologies sir!!
Congrats to Mike Brown on surpassing Thibs for most wins in this run.
Congrats to Mike Brown. First season with a new coach could have been much worse. I’d still prefer to have Thibs at the helm, but we have a better team this season and it is players that win or lose at the end of the day. No coach in this league is ‘clueless’ as often fans think. Brown has shown some good stuff and let’s hope it pays off in the playoffs.
I mean, if Thibs was coaching this game, at least 3 starters play 40+ minutes, no?
That’s way overblown and repeated at nauseum. We all know he had no bench, we all know Mitch was injured all season, we all know Shamet was unplayable when he came back from injury, and so on. Let’s not start this discussion again. I hope Brown does well in the playoffs. It’s in everyone’s interest. He is our coach and he is a good coach. He no less clueless that Thibs was, as per many in here. Lol!
Wow didn’t realize Tatum actually played 40 mins tonight.
“That’s way overblown and repeated at nauseum. We all know he had no bench, we all know Mitch was injured all season, we all know Shamet was unplayable when he came back from injury, and so on. Let’s not start this discussion again.”
Right, because Thibs never did that before last year. Nor did he ever not play players who turned out to be perfectly playable. Nor did he play players like IQ, Obi, and Grimes fewer minutes than other coaches might have.
Please don’t tell people what they should or shouldn’t discuss. Obviously you are in the very small minority of posters who would prefer to have had Thibs at the helm, even though he was clearly losing the locker room, good for you!
Calm down, dude! I’m not going to get into a fight. Calm down, don’t get personal!
Nothing personal. Just thought your post was an overreaction.
I mean every starter this year is averaging 4-5 min a game less with Hart averaging like 8 less minutes but I guess those don’t count.
All that matters is playoffs at this point. We will see
IQ, Grimes, and Obi. Thibs was the one who was playing IQ as a rookie, when everyone is saying he was not ‘developing’ players. Thibs wasn’t playing Obi a lot because he was not defending and Obi is still coming off the bench in Indiana with not a lot more minutes. Thibs was playing Grimes even in the playoffs until he got injured but still insisted to start while not playing well. We all know that. I hope you remember that, too.
I see Thibs weaknesses like everyone else does, and I applaud Brown for his readiness to experiment with different lineups. I do see that starters play 2-3 minutes less, and so on, whatever that means. These are positives. At the same time, I see we have not shown the grit we had in previous seasons, that we are more often out-rebounded than previously, that our paint is not as well protected, that teams often get more offensive rebounds and put up more shots than we do, and so on. I also think that Thibs had by far, I emphasize this, better preparation, better reading of each game, and better accountability for the players. And so on.
What I want to say is that nobody can claim that Thibs was not as good and Brown is better black and white, or the other way around. There are no bad coaches in this league. I do maintain that I’d prefer Thibs to be at the helm, and at the same time I do support and wish the best to this team with Brown at the helm. Period.

My main take away from last night is that it’s very important to have a healthy Mitch if we face Boston in Round 2.
