If Chicago loses there will be a four way tie for first place in the Tankathon standings, and we will only be a half game behind all of them.
Watching Chicago-Brooklyn and how the hell did we allow Pablo to get on the Nets’ bench? We deserve all the bad karma.
We should have went with Pablo, he’s a real one.
I’m really happy and extremely drunk and stoned because I went through my qualifying exam on the PhD and it was a huge sucesss, so I guess the Knicks clinching another important L is another source of happiness for the moment.
Congrats, Bruno! That’s a big deal.
Congratulations, Bruno!
Congratulations Bruno! I’m assuming it isn’t in Basketball Studies 🙂
Congrats Dr. Bruno!
Kudos, signore!
Mazel tov, Bruno!
Knicks loss, Phoenix win, Bruno passed his qualifying exam…it’s a great night at Knickerblogger!
Hopefully Zion is the belated Christmas present 🙂
Congrats Bruno.
Congrats, Bruno!
Bruno what the hell you know that’s just not who we are here. you obviously do the drinking first, throw the quals, then dedicate the next several years to assiduously following your dumbest colleagues’ research and praying they somehow manage to defend their p hacked theses into doctorhood. once the field is cleared and you are first in line you’ll need nothing but a little cap space to seal the deal.
Congrats Bruno!
Thank you everyone, I love you all! I even got ptmilo on vintage form for today!
It’s certainly not on predicting how French guards will perform in the NBA Z-Man, so I’m pretty safe on this end here.
I don’t mean to change the conversation from Bruno’s great day, but I’m curious.
Do the Knicks have a single player that’s actually any good?
A few guys can do something well, but they are so bad at other things they aren’t good on a net basis. A couple are solid role players.
Paul George is having a career year. Jerami Grant is playing really well. Adams continues to improve. The bench is much better. The Thunder are a very serious basketball team right now even with Westbrook off to another slow start due to injuries. They may be 1 solid player away from serious title contention and they may already have him in Diallo.
I wonder what Melo thinks about the developments over the last 2 years. Is he still in total denial?
Congratulations Bruno!
Congrats Bruno! That’s awesome!
Phoenix is threatening to go on a real run here – their next three games are Washington, Brooklyn and Orlando. The Suns going 3-0 (or even 2-1) in this stretch might just give us the edge over them for the season. Also, we’re within striking distance of all of the tank leaders at this point, though it seems Chicago and Atlanta will stay at the bottom. I think we have a realistic shot of finishing third in the Tankathon if we keep playing like we are. Cleveland and Phoenix are just a half game behind us!
Congrats Bruno!
(Time zone delay 🙂 )
what’s up doc?
congratulations sir 🙂
Hey Bruno, that’s huge man, congrats. My wife got her PhD this year so I’ve seen what it means up close. Really pleased for you.
Anyone see Simmons’ trade value primer on the ringer? He’s amusingly high on Knox. Meaningless, of course, but still interesting.
Congrats Bruno!!! (Sleep delay)
Congrats Bruno!

Late to the party, congradulations Bruno!
