LOS ANGELES — Jeff Hornacek can talk all he wants about the Knicks organization’s vision that making playoffs is not a priority during this season of development. Tim Hardaway Jr., after being in the dance two straight seasons with Atlanta, wants to be in the playoffs. Coming off his 31-point explosion in Friday’s victory at…

The Knicks didn’t play the Cavaliers on Saturday, but another chapter was added to the Enes Kanter-LeBron James public feud. After Cleveland was blown out 148-124 by the Thunder — Kanter’s former team — the big man took to social media to highlight the embarrassing defeat. “148,” he tweeted, adding a crown emoji and James’…

it’s been fun watching Vikings fans embrace the past week, which has to feel like the greatest week in their history as sports fans. Winning the game over the Saints as they did ranks as one of the great satisfying moment in any team’s history, but especially a franchise as tortured as the Vikings. But…

LOS ANGELES — It was like old times — Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke together winning games, just as they once did at Michigan. And don’t forget Knicks general manager Scott Perry, a former Michigan assistant who took Burke out to dinner as a Pistons and Magic executive when the point-guard prospect played for…

At least for one night, Trey Burke supplanted Frank Ntilikina in the rotation.

Knicks F Tim Hardaway Jr. is focused on doing his part to help the Knicks make the playoffs this season.

Jeff Hornacek, Enes Kanter and Trey Burke all left Utah in different fashions with different emotions. They all enjoyed a winning return as the Knicks beat the Jazz 117-115.

LOS ANGELES — Now that Tim Hardaway Jr. is healthy and playing again, he wants to help the Knicks reach the playoffs. That’s his singular goal, and he won’t be happy if they fall short.

LOS ANGELES — Frank Ntilikina s his own harshest critic. He doesn’t need any reminders when he doesn’t do well, and he’s the first to acknowledge it when that occurs.

Paul also had 11 rebounds in a game that ended a 14-game win streak for Golden State.

Nice, a full day without a trade rumor 🙂
I’ll wait to judge Perry, at least until this year draft and free agency.
For now he did a decent job, trading Carmelo without being robbed wasn’t easy and his “one year” signings have been good.
I’m not so confident in Mills, Timmy is better than the majority expected (I was in the optimistic minority) but Mills overpaid him so blatantly in relation to his market situation that he can’t get a pass… and the contract he gave to Baker is beyond stupidity.
Basically with a competent GM/President we could have the same players and at least 6 millions more in cap space.
BTW: Come on Kanter, it’s time to cut this crap and concentrate on… playing in the 4th quarter 🙂
Am I crazy for thinking Wendell Carter might have a better NBA career than Bagley?
Also, if you can find a sports book that lets you bet on the Knicks having the 13th pick, you might as well bet your life savings on that because this draft falls off a cliff after 12.
Some draft sleepers to consider:

1st back to back road wins of the season today?
Predictions for today:
Knicks win
Burke plays 20+ minutes
Jack plays <20 minutes
Frank plays well
KP goes off

Send Jordan this years first round pick too and let’s make a playoff run. Next year, this is a 2nd playoffs team with Howard and Kemba coming off the books and KP time to resign. Tons of cap space to sign ballers, (i. e. Thompson), especially if Frank is ready to drops his nuts in third year.
Kemba/Jack/Frank
Lee/Frank/Kemba
Timmy/Lance
KP/Beezman
Kanter/Howard/Willy
Lakers are without Ball and Caldwell Pope, while Ingram is a game time decision,
add that former Westchester’s Nigel Hayes will play and…
… we have all the ingredients for a meltdown!
🙂
Superstitious jokes aside, we must win today, Let’s go Knicks!
