    1. Nice fast break off the deflection. I just hope they play that type of opportunistic ball all season

    2. I get a big stupid grin on my face every time porzingis scores

    3. Since Houston roasted us, we’ve done quite alright on defense. The offense also looks crisp and planned; maybe Hornacek knows what he’s doing?

    4. Baker is crafty with the ball, but I like him better at the 2 as opposed to the 1 like most people project him to play. He’s only 6’4″ but he’s built like Wade and he’s sneaky quick. Problem is, he isn’t quite as good as Holiday on defense. So..should Phil sacrifice Sasha to fit him on the roster? Or should he let him and Ndour get seasoning in the D-League, then call them up around the all star break and let Amundson & Sasha go? I’m starting to feel like Plumlee, Randle, & Baker are gonna be the last 3 on the roster. On the flipside, the Knicks stand to have really really good “farm team” with Baker/Ndour/Inglis/Early/Cheese/Plumlee possibly being on the Westchester roster

    5. No Lance Thomas and no Derrick Rose and we’re playing Boston tough despite the breakdown on defense. Not bad.

    6. Guys just didn’t finish this half. We had a few good looks at the basket that weren’t converted. Celtics are a well coached team. The defend for all 24 seconds.

    7. The thing with Holiday is he’s proven to be way too inconsistent a shooter on a roster where the other three shooting guards have shown (this pre season) that they can shoot consistently. He should be cut IMO. He’s too old and too unproven to be given the benefit of the doubt.

    8. whenever we try to run triangle it results in either very slow offense or someone throwing up a really bad midrange shot….

noah looks good out there… if a little on the slow side…. our defense just fell apart in the 2nd quarter…

baker should make the roster… ndour should be cut… hasn’t done anything…

    9. You would think that the announcers would mention why. KP has played a lot of minutes this preseason so hopefully it’s just a rest

    10. According to Bleacher Report it’s a sore left groin keeping Porzingis out. Damn dirty Celtics

    11. You say tough I say dirty. One thing I will say about the Celtics is that they never get rattled. They’re always under control even when they’re losing, and I hate that about them. That’s the sign of a good road team.

And Hernangomez passes the ball like a Gasol. Boom.

    12. Billy looks so good tbh even though this is a meaningless preseason game

    13. Who would I cut? Right now I’d say Lou, Tokoto and O’Quinn. It probably won’t happen that way though

    14. A little weird that Randle got zero run tonight. I’d take Baker over him anyway but strange not to give him a look. I’d say Plumlee and Randle go to Westchester and Ndour and Baker make the big club.

    15. The announcers said something about him not being able to play because he had gotten some minor injury in practice

    16. Hornacek mentioned on the post game show that Randle has some sort of eye injury. He wants to play but the team is sending him for a second scan (tomorrow) before they let him play.

    17. If we cut or traded O’Quinn, Tokoto, Lou and NDour would we have enough bigs?

We’d have a lot of guards for sure: Rose, Lee, Jennings, Holiday, Baker, Randle, Sasha
Is that too many to carry?

I just saw where Mahinmi is out for 4-6 weeks with knee surgery. Would the Wizards give us a pick for O’Quinn?

    18. Even though I’m still a fan, O’Quinn for a 2nd round pick or two would be nice

    19. Was at the game, some observations:

Baker is a physical specimen, super broad shoulders, great nose for the ball, non-stop movement. The game is still too fast for him, but if he can figure it out and adapt, he can play on my team anytime.

Ndour has the longest arms I’ve ever seen. Might have a low b-ball IQ, needs time in the d-league to find out. Not an NBA player yet.

Willy is definitely an NBA player. Has a flair to his game, great hands around the basket. Game also too fast for him right now.

Noah looked fine. At this level of health, he’ll be a real asset.

Kuz has some adjusting to do, but he’s also clearly an NBA rotation player. Very scrappy, high energy. Crowd favorite. My daughter and I were joking that the announcer was praying that he wouldn’t score so he wouldn’t have to pronounce his name.

Avery Bradley looked great. So did R J Hunter. And Al Horford.

    20. Preseason games are meaningless, but they do show you if young guys belong in the NBA or not, and Willy has definitely shown he belongs. Which is nice to see.
