Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah to all here who celebrate one or both of those! Let’s go take down a very tall Frenchman!

Merry Christmas! Hope all Knickerbloggers out there celebrating have a great one and I hope Wemby doesn’t ruin it for us.

And my New Year’s resolution will be to check all the posts above the one I just put up for duplication….

    Happy Holidays!

I’m excited to watch the Knicks take on Wemby. Hopefully they’re not too sluggish following euphoric Toronto game.

Happy Holidays to all! May the Orange and Blue give their fans at MSG something to cheer about!

    Happy holidays all.

    Our present is a starting 5 with a FG% of 51.2% and a TS% of 59.5%.

I believe these are historic rates. Anyone able to verify where these sit in a historical context?

    Merry Christmas

Should be an interesting matchup today.

If Wemby guards Towns we’ll have the advantage of dragging him away from the paint. That will make it a bit easier to get into the paint without getting blocked as often. If they guard Towns another way and Wemby stays inside, we better be hitting our 3s or it could be a tough afternoon for the offense.

Not gonna happen this year unless Payne goes down with injury, and even then Thibs would just make Deuce the backup PG. So if by “a matter of time” you mean this year, I couldn’t disagree more.

I’m not sure when it will happen. I could be towards the end of the season, it could be next year or it could be never. He’s going to have to show he can defend at a high enough level to play against rotation NBA players. It’s up to Thibs to know when/if he’s ready.

IMO it’s just obvious he already has the best natural PG skills among himself, Deuce and Payne. He also has the ability to shoot and create shots. He has a lot going for himself.

IMO if we want a “run the offense” playmaking PG as backup, it should eventually be him. Guys like Deuce and Payne can play with him in their more natural roles trying to score and being secondary playmakers.

I get the feeling he has the baskball IQ and work ethic to learn how to maximize his defense within his physical limits. Brunson should help him because they have some of the same physical limitations. If that’s good enough, he’s going to be a very very valuable backup eventually (whenever “eventually” is).

Remember Merry Kristaps? Seems like decades ago

Happy holidays to all, let’s kick some Spurs butt today!
