I don’t know about yal, but I’m so anxious to see who our 3rd big is gonna be. Hopefully Mark Bryant can coach Drummond enough that he won’t be a liability in the playoffs. Otherwise, we’d have to add a big who can take minutes from him. I’m also kinda bummed about losing Sochan. I thought he was a good fit on this team. He wasn’t a consistent rotation player, but I loved his intensity and versatility. But I also trust Diawara. So..no blood, no foul, I guess lol.

Also, do we think Nickel is good enough to replace Dillon Jones? I know he played an invaluable role last season, but he’s kinda like our new Jared Jeffries- and he may be a worse player.

Dillon Jones played 39 minutes of NBA ball last year and made two field goals (out of nine shots). I’m presuming you are using ‘invaluable’ with your tongue firmly in cheek…

Dillon Jones played 39 minutes of NBA ball last year and made two field goals (out of nine shots). I’m presuming you are using ‘invaluable’ with your tongue firmly in cheek…

Not really. He was ass on the court, but Mike Brown says his contribution off the court helped him alot. Dude was even ass in summer league- which is the reason I wonder if Nickel is good enough right now to replace him. I think he can, considering we have championship experience and guys like Alvarado, Deuce, and Kolek, who carry themselves like seasoned vets. Plus actual vets who’ve been through attrition like the whole starting 5, Drummond, Clarkson, and Shamet.

cyber, that’s great, I was still under the impression that Clarkson’s no-trade clause was in effect. Although I still think the december 15 trade restriction is still in effect.

As such, my understanding is that of the non-starters, only Deuce, Kolek, and Dadiet can be traded right now. AI tells me that Dillon Jones or Kevin McCullar Jr. can be included in a trade this summer via a convoluted sign-and-trade scenario. So it seems like the most outgoing salary that can be aggregated as a first apron team for now is:

    Deuce ($3,956,523)
    Dadiet ($2,983,680)
Standard vet’s minimum via Jones or McCullar ($2,449,421)

    Total: $9,389,624

    Does that seem correct?

    1

I believe that a player of Sochan’s caliber can be found pretty easily at any point for minimal cost. Clearly Leon and Aller are gaming things out for maximum flexibility under the second apron right now, and signing Sochan (even assuming he would waive the NTC cyber’s article elaborated on above) would make him ineligible to be traded until December 15.

Cyber, that’s very interesting. Brock can now add Clarkson’s salary as a trade filler. Alvarado can be added after 12/15, if Kolek shows growth and maturity.

Best move is to sit tight and see what an in shape Drummond can do for 12 minutes a game for first 2-3 months of the season.

    1

“Brock can now add Clarkson’s salary as a trade filler.”

Not until 12/15/2026, I believe that’s a CBA rule that can’t be waived by the player. (Please feel free to correct me)

Wonder what folks think about a 3-4 minute 2nd quarter spurt with a 5 out run & gun undersized lineup that can defend at a high level. Think Brown and co will experiment with this?

    Alvarado
    Shamet
    Hart
    Diawara
    OG

Yes, any free agent signed by a team can’t be traded until December 15th.

I do think Leon is cooking up something big for back up Center. We’re just gonna have to be patient.

As long as KAT and Drummond stay healthy the first few months, we should be fine.

    Tyson Chandler is only 43…

Zman, – actually like Howard for a training camp invite to check out both thread left on his tires and maturity level.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FkeoZnDuRI Clyde Frazier at 81 years old waxing poetic about the past, about unselfishness, aboht things that transcend the box score or analytics, and about the 5 greatest players he ever saw. Spoiler alert: Willis Reed was one of them, and his words about Willis capture his greatness better than any I have ever heard.

We all should treasure Clyde for any time we have left with him. I am so overjoyed that he got to experience this championship season. No one deserved it more.

    2

    Total: $9,389,624

    Does that seem correct?

If the goal of the exercise is to determine the maximum single-player salary that could be brought back via trade, I’d suggest the next step is to calculate (and subtract) the required dollars to fill the two required roster spots created by the proposed 3-for-1 exchange, while remaining sub-second apron.

That dollar figure is $2,982,637, with pre-trade residual cap space of $824,347 taken into account. That figure presumes one vet min filled spot and Tyler Nickel signing for the second round pick minimum.

$2,982,637 subtracted from $9,389,624 yields a maximum single-player salary of $6,406,987 that the Knicks could (in theory, this off-season) bring back by trade, while remaining under the second apron and filling 14 roster spots.

Dwight Howard looks like he’s still in incredible shape. Maybe he’s in good enough shape to extend a camp invite. I would also kick the tires on Ben Simmons. I know he’s a headcase, but there’s still so much talent there. I wouldn’t expect either to make the team though. Not a chance lol

What about James Nnaji? I didn’t follow his Baylor career, so I have no idea how much he grea- if any. I do know he’s very athletic at his size.

timo, maybe i’m wrong, but i think we can carry 13 players until sometime in the season when it’s mandatory to have 14 players signed. That should bump the value by a little.

    Nnaji is terrible.

Howard and Simmons are theoretically worth a look, but even if they were healthy, able, and motivated enough to fill an emergency backup role, neither guy seems to fit the locker room culture the Knicks have established.

    1

Simmons has mental health issues, we should let him be a fisherman, because that seems to bring him happiness. I don’t think being the target of hack-a-Simmons in the Finals would do great for his mental health.

    1

Howard and Simmons are theoretically worth a look, but even if they were healthy, able, and motivated enough to fill an emergency backup role, neither guy seems to fit the locker room culture the Knicks have established.

    100% Facts.

    1

Thanks cybersoze; I did think about mentioning that angle, but the potential effect from 14 (or non-consecutive max 28) days of flexing is marginal ($100K-$200K). And it’s not a certainty that Nickel will agree to a minimum salary to begin with.

    1

“timo, maybe i’m wrong, but i think we can carry 13 players until sometime in the season where it’s mandatory to have 14 players signed. That should bump the value by a little.”

cyber, I think that helps a little, but 14 consecutive days is probably not enough to make much of a difference in terms of players they can pursue. There just aren’t a lot of C’s available in that price range, certainly not ones that you would want to give up Deuce for.

    1

My preference for a third C would be a young guy with some theoretical upside— the two young bigs in New Orleans, Missi and Matkovic, for example, are ideal targets. I believe in the coaching staff and the culture, and I’d like to see them take a shot at coaching up a player with some raw talent who might be wasting away on a bad team somewhere.

The New Orleans guys might not be available, that’s the prototype I’d be looking for. I hope to avoid the Kelly Olynyk/Ben Simmons/Plumlee pile entirely.

    1

1000 percent to every word that JK47 just posted.

“Howard and Simmons are theoretically worth a look, but even if they were healthy, able, and motivated enough to fill an emergency backup role, neither guy seems to fit the locker room culture the Knicks have established.”

Correct. And our culture/vibe was a *huge* part of our Championship DNA.

Would love Missi or Matkovic. That’s the archetype, just as Cisse was (is?). Nick Richards would do. It’ll be Robbins(on) if we don’t act on anyone else anytime soon.

Theoretically speaking, I think a healthy-ish Ben Simmons would be a great fit, perhaps the best fit of anyone who will become available. He has the size and defensive chops to play C, but can also be an emergency backup at other positions. He can present some matchup problems for certain opposing lineups. He could be a real asset in transition. And if anyone is worried about his FT shooting, consider that the guy whose loss we are mourning was the worst in NBA history.

Obviously he would have to pass muster with Leon character-wise just to be brought in for a camp invite. I doubt that he will. But that article I posted a couple of weeks ago suggest that he is in a good mental space right now and might have matured enough to give him a look.

Personally, I’m pretty forgiving of players who have had to overcome severe mental health challenges, although at least some wariness is merited. This is especially true when the team is as delicately constructed as ours.

I’m going to stump for Liam Robbins. Strong guy who can shoot and has good court awareness. You’d probably need another guy, too, like a Precious-type who can also play PF, but I’d be fine with that center group, at least for now.

    1

    Simmons is an interesting idea.

As far as his mental state and him being too fragile for us. A few thoughts.

In his prime with Philly he was the number 2 guy, a top draft pick, rising star, who was burdened with the expectations of being one of the leaders of the new process-led 76ers. People were annointing those teams to be a future dynasty. I imagine there was a lot of pressure on him. He also was the starting PG, so the leader on the court.

Doc Rivers mercilessly threw him under the bus and the fan base turned on him.

Here, he would be a back up center making a career comeback on a team that is full of team first guys (who are all genuinely nice dudes too). And there would not be the pressure of winning a title and ending a 50 year drought because we’ve already done that.

As Z-Man pointed out, we won with Mitch who was the worst free throw shooter in the history of the NBA and who also had basically zero offensive game. So it’s not like we would need Simmons to create offense or take mid range shots or shoot 3’s or whatever. Make the occasional dunk/layup, move the ball, play defense for 10 to 20 minutes a night. If we don’t repeat, it would not be because of Ben Simmons.

So I think in many ways the situation would be pretty low stakes for him and we might have the culture and guys here already to make him feel comfortable and maybe even help him re-find his love of the game.

I would want him to be a camp invite first. But he is the exact kind of buy low (super low) but high upside move we should be looking to make because if he worked out, him and Drummond collectively would be an upgrade over Mitch and Huk.

I’ll just point out that Ben Simmons left the game shortly after he stopped being able to “Make the occasional dunk/layup…”

In any case, it looks like if Simmons returns, it’s either going to be to the Sixers or the Heat.

I did think about mentioning that angle, but the potential effect from 14 (or non-consecutive max 28) days of flexing is marginal ($100K-$200K).

Yeah, 200K is not relevant to our quest.

Maybe i was influenced by an article that was stating 14K can be critical in the NBA. 😛

It was the Rockets, they waived JD Davison’s non-guaranteed contract and by doing that they moved below the luxury tax line by a mere $14,077. And why is this money relevant? It’s the “exact amount that a player on a prorated minimum-salary contract would earn for a single day in service”.

“In other words, even if Houston doesn’t shed any additional salary between now and the end of the regular season, the club would be able to sign a player to a minimum contract prior to the regular season finale without going into luxury tax territory.”

How about that? Seems like Houston’s Brock Aller is working as hard as ours. 😉

My preference for a third C would be a young guy with some theoretical upside— the two young bigs in New Orleans, Missi and Matkovic, for example, are ideal targets.

I agree with this as the correct strategy and would be fine with the 2 specific players mentioned.

The last few days I’ve been thinking about something else. I never fully understood how our defense improved so much at the end of the season and into the playoffs. Having an elite defense with Towns and Brunson on the court goes against almost eveything I believe in when it comes to defense. I guess I’m not enough of an Xs and Os guy to see it all, but maybe we got a litte lucky or it was a bit of both. Whenever I don’t understand something I worry it’s not sustainable. With the loss of Mitch, our defense has me twice as worried.

    1

    From Hoopsrumors.com:

James L. Edwards III of The Athletic is confident that the Knicks‘ front office will offer Karl-Anthony Towns an extension this offseason, but he doesn’t expect New York to put a maximum-salary contract on the table for the big man. A full max deal for Towns would be worth a projected $272.8MM over four seasons, beginning in 2027/28.

As Edwards outlines, Towns has done everything he reasonably could to prove worthy of a max contract since being acquired from Minnesota ahead of the 2024/25 season. He has been an All-Star in each of his two years with the Knicks, appeared in 147 of 164 possible regular season games, and averaged 22.2 points and 12.3 rebounds per contest. He was also an indispensable contributor during New York’s title run after adjusting to a new offensive role under head coach Mike Brown in ’25/26.

Still, Towns will be entering his age-31 season and the Knicks’ team salary is getting increasingly expensive, so a max deal for Towns would carry significant risk and would compromise the team’s spending flexibility moving forward, Edwards observes.

Because Towns holds a player option for 2027/28, he’ll remain extension-eligible throughout the season. If he and the Knicks don’t reach a new deal before opening night, he’d have to decline that ’27/28 option and replace it with the first year of a new deal in order to extend during the season.

    And also from Hoopsrumors.com:

Brown’s coaching staff isn’t expected to undergo any major changes ahead of the coming season, according to Jared Schwartz of The New York Post, who says all of the front-of-bench assistants are expected to return, though there’s “a bit of uncertainty” about whether Jordan Brink will be back.

“I’m going to stump for Liam Robbins. Strong guy who can shoot and has good court awareness.”

And still pretty young. And quite tall. And can block shots. He’s the archetype to be the “defensive reserve center” when the situation calls for it. He can even be in there with KAT at PF, if necessary at times.

If I’m not mistaken, Simmons refused to be a 5 in his tenure. He left the NBA of his own accord, embracing fishing instead of coming to our training camp as a possible backup PG. And now we posit an invite as a 3rd 5 as enticing? Though would be nice to see him dunk over Joel ala Mitch.

    1

“If I’m not mistaken, Simmons refused to be a 5 in his tenure. He left the NBA of his own accord, embracing fishing instead of coming to our training camp as a possible backup PG. And now we posit an invite as a 3rd 5 as enticing? Though would be nice to see him dunk over Joel ala Mitch.”

Not enticing. Not in the least. I’d rather have Dwight Howard, and I don’t want Dwight Howard.

Simmons mental toughness, competative spirit and brotherhood team first POV can never return to what it was during his peak. Its like taking a greek omelette and trying to put it back inside the egg how it used to be.

Howard is a life long clown and you can’t take him seriously.

However, he did shut down Jokic and that won Lebron his last ring in the bubble. Keeps his body in great condition and may prove to very valuable when KAT is in foul trouble in a series against Embiid & Wemby.

Yeah, of all the backup/3C options out there in today’s discussion, I’m still picking the “let’s just wait and see” door.

Lots that can and will shake loose before it’s time to lock it in.

    2

The last few days I’ve been thinking about something else. I never fully understood how our defense improved so much at the end of the season and into the playoffs. Having an elite defense with Towns and Brunson on the court goes against almost eveything I believe in when it comes to defense.

No offense meant, Strat, but maybe you might want to consider questioning those beliefs. The Knicks were the #2 defense in the NBA from January 20 on, which spanned roughly half a season. In the playoffs they were the #1 defense. You’ve said here before that you didn’t believe a defense with KAT and Brunson on it could be elite, and that was just incorrect.

I get WHY you’d say that, and to be honest at one time I probably believed that as well. But here’s what I now believe: “defense” isn’t an inherent trait in a player. Certain players in the league are specialists, and have physical characteristics that make them genuine impact players on that end. And certain players simply lack those physical characteristics.

But those players are outliers. I think a pretty large number of NBA players are good enough athletes with good enough measurables to play good defense in the right context, in the right scheme, on a team where everybody is buying into the defensive concept.

The Knicks were well coached on defense. Their defense emphasized positioning, filling in gaps, quick rotations, communication, playing help defense on drives, crashing the defensive glass. This system got the most out of everybody’s abilities. By the end of the playoffs even Brunson was hedging and recovering like a champ.

They got buy-in from everybody, and in that context KAT was not just an adequate defender, he was actually a strong defender. In the playoffs he was one of the very best two-way players in the league.

I guess I’m not enough of an Xs and Os guy to see it all, but maybe we got a litte lucky or it was a bit of both.

It wasn’t luck and I don’t think you need to be an Xs and Os guy to watch that team and see an incredible amount of discipline, accountability, and team play. Both KAT and Brunson were effective defenders. Jordan Clarkson was an effective defender. Landry Shamet was an effective defender.

Context matters. Team play matters. Pigeonholing players as simply “bad on defense” isn’t really a great way to look at it. Neither KAT nor Brunson are such pathetic physical specimens that they’re not able to defend effectively on a very well coached team.

    3

Dwight Howard took the concept of “corny” to unprecedented levels. I believe his grating personality actually cut his career short. The last third of his career was him basically going somewhere, wearing out his welcome and annoying the shit out of everybody, then getting dumped.

This is probably gonna sound crazy, but the full weight of our Knicks winning the chip just hit me, and I’m emotional all over again lol. It’s not that I never expected to see it in my lifetime. Nah. And maybe those who have been fans of this team as long as I have and even longer can relate. We have been either so close orgood enough to win it more than enough times, and have either ran into Jordan, Dream, Admiral& Timmy, or just crumbled under the pressure. And then the season before we won, we were just injured. This past season is gonna always be incredible for me.

Poindexter, I think we armored ourselves after all of the losses and those feelings of hopelessness. After losing the Zion lottery, losing out on Durant….and LeBron and every decent free-agent, we lost the ability to believe. The Knicks won and I jumped up and down, happy and emotional, but not quite processing it correctly. The Rangers Cup win was fully felt. Same with the 96 Yankees. It may take me until mid-season, long after the banner raising for this to finally register.

    3

As Edwards outlines, Towns has done everything he reasonably could to prove worthy of a max contract since being acquired from Minnesota ahead of the 2024/25 season.

    Has he, though?

His max is 35% of the salary cap. That’s Curry, SGA, Giannis, Jokic, Luka, Tatum territory. KAT has not proven worthy of that.

He’s proven he can be the #2 guy on a championship team. That’s worthy of 25%.

JK47, I think your position on the Knicks’ defense is spot on, and that’s one of the reasons this past season’s team will always be cherished by me, even above and beyond winning the chip.

“…an incredible amount of discipline, accountability, and team play.” THAT’S why I’ll always love them.

And you can say well, why doesn’t every team do that if they’re all capable of it? I think it’s because those three traits are actually pretty rare in coddled, multi-millionaire 20-somethings. To get a whole team of them on a string is extraordinary.

The Mets are ten million games out of first place and are in rebuild mode. Their season ended months ago.

They’re still benching their best young player, AJ Ewing, against left handed pitchers, on August 6 of a season that ended in May. Today’s innovation was to start minor league journeyman Cristian Pache, he of the career .518 OPS in 600 major league plate appearances. Gotta get Cristian going!

So if you thought maybe they know what they’re doing and just caught a few bad breaks this year, you’re wrong.

I think it’s because those three traits are actually pretty rare in coddled, multi-millionaire 20-somethings.

I think this is part of it but also we should not ignore the top level talent that Rose was able to assemble. Do we have a generational tentpole star like prime like Curry or Lebron? No (although Brunson is maybe closer to that than a lot of people are willing to admit). But our starters have 1 top 10 (5?) player, another top 20 player, OG (who is maybe sneaking into top 30) and then Hart and Mikal who are probably top 50. Our top end talent is REALLY good. We’re kind of like the 2011 Mavs in that regard. Dirk may not have been peak Lebron but he was a killer perrenial all-star and the surrounding pieces were all very very good.

I mean, the biggest weakness of our starting 5 is Josh not being a great three point shooter. That’s really it!

Then we got some great bench pieces (minus mitch but still).

Leon got some great players and Brown unlocked the magic and got them to buy in.

Knew Your Knicks – whatcha doing?

not thinking of basketball and the knicks most likely…

came across a cool vid, and thought of you…

    Hi geo!
I’m fine man. Hope the same about you.
Working mostly nightshifts, listening to music 24/7, feeding/playing with cats wherever possible and waiting for the nba season to start watching my favourite team again!
    Sex and Gym and RnR!

And of course waiting for the 3rd backup C!!!!

    1

Just saw Spider-Man. Apparently only 90% fresh but I loved it.

I traded for AJ Ewing in a fantasy league and yeah, the Mets are infuriating. He has a reverse split at the moment too.

Towns should not get the whole max. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Strat, you sent me down a rabbit hole of rankings and comparisons. At first I was appalled by ranks, but then I realized I was looking at the start of the season rankings, so for example OG was 49, but when I switched to the Ringer, who did theirs at the end of the season, he was 21. It’s the Ringer, but still.

My interest was what an equivalent team would look like around those same rankings. So if you had a starting four of Luka, Jaylen Brown, Evan Mosely, Dillon Brooks, and Trae Young, that would in fact be a killer starter set. But while Evan and Dillon play D, the others kind of don’t much, and many of them take plays off regularly.

I think even with the Knicks coaching staff, you might have trouble having the #2 or #1 defense in the league…

    Discipline, accountability, and team play.

    1

Owen you were the only person who made me feel seen on The Odyssey until Emily Wilson chimed in.

It’s hard to put a value on OG. I remember thinking of nicknaming Mitch “The Kraken” because he had a propensity to just wreck a game when “released.” But OG has taken that Kraken shit to another level. The wake of devastation he left through this playoff run was truly astonishing. The list of guys who put up a 9.37 BPM in at least 15 playoff games is pretty short and consists mostly of all-time greats. KAT had a 9.41 BPM, but his defensive BPM seems inflated by defensive rebounding, much like Jokic’s tends to be….I mean, it’s higher than OG’s and we saw for ourselves how much more impactful OG was on defense. Either way, KAT is a supermax player and should do that.

I would call the Willis Reed game the most dramatic game at MSG in franchise history, and this Game 4 as the second most dramatic; others might reverse those two. Either way, Game 4 was OG’s masterpiece, and not just for the block and the tip. I think his number is going into the rafters no matter what happens from here on out, joining KAT’s #32 and Brunson’s #11. I hope that all 5 starters get their numbers retired, but those 3 should be locks. In fact, barring more heroics by the others in a subsequent championship run, I would retire OG’s second, right after Brunson’s.

    feeding/playing with cats wherever possible

awwwwwww, this makes me smile wide KYN 😊

hope you’re able to also get up some shots on a basket…

    Just saw Spider-Man.

did the peter parker/mj storyline get you tearing up a bit too…

interesting to see the x-man universe interacting with spidey…

saw at the end tom holland may be getting a 5th stand alone spidey movie…wish they’d do one with him and venom again…

haven’t checked in a while but hope world war hulk is going to get made and finished…

KAT is a truly elite defensive rebounder, was second in the league in DRB% only to Wembanyama, and in the playoffs he was 4th in DRB% behind guys who all played far fewer minutes.

Defensive rebounding was a big part of the Knicks’ success, and KAT’s elite performance in this area was very valuable. They were #2 in the regular season and #2 in the playoffs in DRB%.

KAT’s contributions are more reflected in the box score than a player like OG, who gives you a lot of value with his incredible on ball defense, so I’d tend to agree that OG is the more impactful defender, but KAT was very good on that end.

At the same time, KAT’s value on the offensive end is not fully reflected in his BPM, because the spacing he provides is so crucial. You have to take him seriously as a 3pt threat and that just opens things up for everybody else. There just aren’t that many true stretch 5’s out there.

“did the peter parker/mj storyline get you tearing up a bit too…”

Nope. Not at all. Not even a little bit. I didn’t care. GF, however, loved the entire movie “from the first minute to the last.”

    1

I truly loved playoff KAT. But to be honest, I don’t recall him having a signature game late in the playoffs. Certainly not in the finals. He had signature plays, but not a signature game. Whereas OG put his stamp on a whole bunch of games, maybe excepting game five, but it’s almost like the team gave the stage to Brunson …the ultimate Fat Lady.

hope you’re able to also get up some shots on a basket…

Unfortunately my free time is becoming more limited as years go by so my 3pbrick routine was cut but i could add it too sometime soon by replacing gym on a day I’d like something more fun & groovy!

Clyde Frazier at 81 years old waxing poetic about the past,

    Sadly, Z-man, I think that’s AI.

I didn’t even see it and I’m 100000 percent bothered by it. Can’t trust anything one sees or hears anymore. It’s a problem.

    1

We can sign Jones or McCullar to a deal bigger than the vet min to increase the maximum outgoing salary. Jones is a non-bird player and can’t go much beyond the minimum. McCullar as early bird player can be signed for up to Early Bird exception: $15,235,500, but I believe only half would count as outgoing salary… so around $7.6M. Plus if we sign them for more than the minimum, we can add their salaries together.

However, as people pointed out the real restriction is the 2nd apron. Doesn’t matter how much we can aggregate if we only go up $3.2M from our current total.

We can spend $1,357,763 per roster spot we want to fill. So filling 2 spots costs $2,715,526.

Presumably that’s Kayil & Nickel on 2nd rd exceptions. We could also sign an undrafted rookie to the minimum with part of the TP-MLE (the min exception counts at the 2yr vet number).

Anyway, $7,498,445 is the maximum we can pay a player by trading Deuce, Dadiet, and McCullar/Jones.

very good for you for showing up at the gym KYN…

normal routines keep me pretty engaged and active – something very special though about showing up to a place to do business with your body…

need to do a better job at it…easy to walk/stretch anywhere – weight training though is best in a gym, with other folks in there working away too…

it’s cool KYN, we were all talking the other day about newer music, and I didn’t have much current stuff…

thinking though this I Prevail stuff is working for me…

enjoy fast paced metal, hard not to get moved by those beats…and, it’s nice that it’s newer stuff…

i’m about to sound a million years old for saying this, but yeah i think it’s important to try to stay connected with currentish art/music/writing/tech…past is heading away fast, what’s now and more interesting what’s next…

maybe do like a tom holland spiderman movie marathon…lot of really solid actors have been involved with the franchise…

his first appearance in civil war went well, the avengers stuff was also fun…

do you enjoy any of the superhero genre stuff?

As someone with a young son through all the Marvel years, I was quite happy with the Spider Man films. Holland is excellent, the writing is generally sharp, they are well-made …. always a relief when you get a good one as opposed to Thor: The Dark World.

We can spend $1,357,763 per roster spot we want to fill. So filling 2 spots costs $2,715,526.

Presumably that’s Kayil & Nickel on 2nd rd exceptions.

Thank you, I appreciate your posts.

I stated my presumptions. If one makes different presumptions, one will get different numbers. I don’t see signing both Kayil and Nickels as likely. And signing both to minimum contracts less likely, since the contracts are negotiable.

geo i tried to avoid gym from time to time but saw that it’s much harder to be consistent if you’re exercising outside.
A decent gym not extremely crowded with heat and a/c is not giving you the chance to skip due to weather.

    Whatever works for you!
3months ago my playlist used to be full of aggressive black, death, thrash metal.
Nowadays funk, reggae, blues rock and garage rock have taken their place.
After decades of music listening i found out that the key to music enjoyment seems to be to ALWAYS listen according to your mood and having the ability to prepare your playlists The Way You Want Them before you got bored by them.
ADD & DELETE is the key so it’s always tempting to listen and here’s your motivation to go to the gym!

If it’s important for you You do it.
I’m more of a past diver myself.
But if something new seems interesting i won’t hesitate to check it out.

kb possibly not the ideal venue to shout iceberg about the housing market. though i do remember those pre-avalanche pebbles well.

By the way, thanks for this, Milo. I’ve been expecting it for a while. Batten down the hatches….
