OMG iHart with 33 and 19 last night 😭
What could’ve been…
yeah i saw that too obviously he wont do that every night but he is averaging 13 and 12 on 68 percent shooting (30 minutes per game)
If we IHart starting with Mitch backing him up on this team we’d win a chip.
I think back up center is our biggest area of concern. I’m just not ready to trust Huk with major minutes especially if Mitch gets hurt.
Back up PG doesn’t seem to be too much of an issue with McBride, Clarkson and Hart off the bench we can make do when Brunson sits.
especially when mitch gets hurt fify
Maybe they turn down the option and he feels he has made good money already… and he comes back? 🧡💙

I guess this is why Z-man thought everything was so cheap here at Porto. You have an option, guys, you can all come and live near me. 😀
Damn Cyber. I live in an area where there’s some money, and I’ve noticed that some pricy restaurants now have menu items approaching or topping three digits, when it seems just a year or two ago high-end menu items were like $40-50. Another sign of the apocalypse, I guess.
This is too many days between games. I have to go watch Notre Dame this evening with in-laws, even though I think Notre Dame is evil, I think football is evil, and while it’s not as bad as the NFL, I think college football is now also quite evil.
But it will make Lady Raven happy, and there will be pizza. So not a total loss.
This crossed my mind at the game Wednesday. If iHart had re-signed we probably have him, Randle, Donte, and the 17th pick in last year’s draft instead of KAT. That’s a remarkable 4-for-1 swing.
This is why Dolan fights the league at every opportunity, and I fully support him. It’s ridiculous that this rule exists, but it’s insulting that OKC had cap space because they could survive multiple years of tanking with welfare from Dolan.
Totally agree that there are too many days between these two games, but curious as to why football is somehow evil where hoops is not?
Not sure why ND is evil, but they sure do seem to get the best of it in national rankings and their games are sometimes officiated like they are in some CYO league.
Cyber, you’re telling me!
“Teams are making shots,” Hart said Friday. “It’s the NBA, man. It goes in flows. We’ve played eight games, the next eight games we could have the best 3-point defense. It might not be because our defense is great, but just because some teams miss shots. As long as we’re flying around defensively, contesting shots, doing all we can, then we’re gonna live with the outcome, no matter what that outcome is.”
“We’re getting a little better with it,” Brown said. “There’s a couple of things technique-wise that we could do better. Even if you don’t feel like you can get a great contest, still put a hand up and contest. That’s the first thing. The second thing is we were doing a great job of protecting one another and scrambling and trying to close out. But sometimes we’re closing out so hard we’re overrunning guys and then the side-step dribble 3 is available. So we’ve gotta close out, take away air space first and then second, even if you can’t get there, give the effort to be there while being the second jumper and not flying by a guy so that you can box out in case that ball bounces long off the miss.”
Dadiet, Evbuomwan, & Jemison starting for Westchester.
Game going on right now if anyone is really starving for basketball
Alternatively, ESPN has a really nice (if long, but worth it) article, ‘In search of the real Nikola Jokić.’
As much about Serbia as Jokic.
Some friends already did. You guys are lucky!
Pepper, like the Brown quote because it is honest but also don’t like it because he is publicly calling out specific things, which anyone with access to game film can localise to a specific player or players. Opposite of Thibs. Got him in trouble in his last job, thought he would have learnt from it. Don’t want to kill the current good vibes, but am going to keep an eye on this.
That’s definitely a non-MSG answer from Brown. He’ll probably get an email from HR and have to do some internal training on saying less to the media.
Cyber, all I’ve heard is how the American ex-pats have ruined Portugal, so it’s not even on my list of places to check out! Is that wrong? I’m still looking for where I’m gonna settle – probably outside the US. Of all the places I’ve been in the last year (Scotland, France, Turkey, Mongolia, Italy, Germany, Albania, and LA, Chicago, NY, Florida) I’m actually leaning toward Mongolia… I still have to hit Norway and Spain. Should I add Portugal back, or are you just joking around?
I wondered what Mongolian woman looked like, But Google answered that.
Spain is very touristy in the touristy parts but also quite lovely n a lot of other parts.
I miss IHart a lot too
I’m curious what Mongolia has over say, living in Hawaii or San Diego or south Florida?
I assume you mean besides cost of living
Never heard that, we’re a nice and welcoming country. I think you can add Portugal for sure.
At the moment we’re having some trouble with the far right, as they have a leader that is like a Trump apprentice, the guy is charismatic and has become a problem, but he won’t change what we are. They are a minority and always will be.
