So, first of all Shump Shump.

I just got the best xmas present in the mail from my brother, who lives in Lexington, KY. It’s a page from the local newspaper, with a big pic of Kenny “Sky” Walker, and an article about his cooking….including his “sky” mac and cheese recipe. It’s personally signed by Kenny…..it says “Chris….enjoy the “????”, and it’s signed Sky. The????….I can’t read….Sky’s penmanship needs work.

Could we straight swap Mudiay/Burke to get Ron Baker back? Washington would probably try and throw Wall in there as a sweetener.

a max QO can’t have injury protections under the cba so this is a non sequitir.

    Well. Shit. That’s not great.

Brian, yeah, trading KP is an option, but it should be for the right offer. He’s by far the most fungible asset on the team (not counting this year’s #1) so trading him just because he has questionable upside only makes sense if you get more than his market value back (not his actual value, which is lower.)

I get that he was injured and all that, but Trier has been total ass since signing the contract

That Frank dunk was the lone highlight of an otherwise brutal quarter, compete with Trier getting sonned.

the main takeaway so far is that if we trade Vonleh there is no known technology that could contest our tank

Yeah, seriously, has the league figured Trier out?

I mean, this team is really bad, but are they jetlagged too or something tonight? Everyone looks slow.

What’s with Mario’s lack of handles?
Trier keeps trying that same stop-on-a-dime stepback J in the paint…

I think the terrible offensive schemes are not helping Trier or Dotson or anyone really. That said, Trier is playing like a stoned THJ.

    @24

Trier is playing like a stoned THJ

The line of the night! So far…

Farfa, you better start your The Bad section early. Gonna be a long one.

Seriously, fuck this team. There is nothing to be excited about.

    I’m gonna watch something else.

    Tank on.

What’s the NBA record for dunks in a game by one player? And, when tonight will Gobert break that record?

I know it looks grim but if we finally get some calls and heat up a bit I could honestly see us getting 50 before they get 100

This may be the earliest I’ve ever seen a Knicks game go into garbage time. I mean, we’re well into it!

    Poor Breen.

They should just call game at halftime.
Let the good people of Salt Lake get a beat on a night out to dinner or bowling or whatever wholesome fun Saturday night allows for in Utah.

If THJ still has plantar fasciitis (and he has to, it just doesn’t go away quickly) playing him even a single second in the second half will be very stupid. I’d also like to hear the Utah crowd booing Kanter into retirement

Exum has 12 assists at the half.

The Knicks are being outrebounded 32-15.

Those are just a couple of the fun halftime stats.

I’m not sure if I ever saw a worse half of basketball played by an NBA team. It seriously seemed like there were 5 random guys from different countries playing together for the first time. The most discouraging thing is how there was zero chemistry ON BOTH ENDS right from the fucking opening tipoff!

The most discouraging thing is how there was zero chemistry ON BOTH ENDS right from the fucking opening tipoff!

Do you think I was joking about firing Fizdale?

if Zion finds out about this he’s going to get creeped out at how strong we’re coming on

Oh, totally, I was thinking more about your earlier comment about KP still being viewed as a max player around the league. If that’s true (and I’m not saying it isn’t), then they should be able to get some pretty darn good offers, right? Like a top five pick in this year’s draft and something else good! Some shitty team might think that KP is the key to their rebuild, ya know?

Soooo we’ve called it a night early I see on here.
Hope yall enjoy the rest of your Saturday. I got my mom out here in LA visiting from home for the first time. Happy to have her here for the holidays – farthest and longest she’s ever been away from NY.

Erwin Rommel watched this game from hell and was all like “Damn, now these guys know how to tank”

I was at a restaurant with a lot of TVs, so I asked the manager if he could put the Knicks game on. He said sure, got distracted and forgot to. Later on he profusely apologized and I told him after checking the halftime score he had done me a huge favor.

We’ve forfeited the right to ever criticize the Bulls.
