Boston has been playing better the last few games. This could be a rough night for the Knicks.

Hayward may be returning to his best form 20-25 games into his comeback.

I’d say the odds for some garbage time Frank are very good. In fact I’d give slightly better than even odds that he’ll play some point even if the game is close given how bad the offense in the second half against Washington.

I don’t understand the Knicks supposed fascination with Rozier. They like a 6′ 1″ 24 year old PG that doesn’t score efficiently better than a 6’6″ 20 year old PG that doesn’t score efficiently?

When Rozier came into the league he was older than Frank is now and he SUCKED!

Trier’s gonna have some issues when refs start calling that push-off he always does when he’s driving

It’s never good when you shoot 63% from the floor and are on pace to give up 152 points and lose by 32 🙂

But they don’t need Frank’s D

But they don’t need Frank’s D

or Dotson’s for that 38 point quarter. ugh

Seriously, every play Boston runs a guy through a screen and either Lee or Trier dies on it instantly, it’s been open shots one after the other. So much for the defensive focus of coach Fizdale.

I’m looking forward to watching us keep Frank buried on the bench for the next couple of months and then trading him for two 2nd round picks at the deadline.

Interesting, I guess, that the Knicks are still in striking distance of the Celtics despite the horrible defensive effort. I wonder if Boston will try to put the clamps on in the 4th?

If we can hit 80% of our three pointers from here on in I really think we have a chance.

And Knox should have to do 20 push-ups every time he throws up his patented low percentage running floater

Knox’s drives drive me crazy. The guy “attacks” the rim at a 45 degree angle.

If Mudiay can hit sideways threes, anything is possible!

It’s hard for me to shake the feeling Mitch Rob is the next Tyson Chandler.. ridiculously high bar, little chance he lives up to it, totally irrational, but gosh I love him.

He’s built to play basketball.

I’d like to see Frank and Ron in the game, just to be reminded about what good defense looks like.

Clearing out the bench and not playing Frank is absolutely unacceptable. Put the kid in for God’s sake.

Hey, they avoided the dreaded 130.

Sad to see Frank now Ron Baker’s understudy as “Head End of Bench Cheerleader.”

nah I understand not throwing Frank in for two minutes of garbage time with luke kornet. There’s nothing to be gained there. The other 46 minutes is a different story.

I’ve only watched maybe 50-100 minutes of ayton this year and I’ve seen him do at least 10 egregious i’m barely trying type things

I used to be sure it was just Fizdale changing who he plays, but now I think those who thought he was on the trade block might be right. Perry needs to make space for Trier. Maybe he’s trying to do it with a trade, so he doesn’t have to cut someone.

@32

Dragan Bender is playing in the 2nd quarter, so garbage time started early again for the Suns.

I really like to dream that Perry is on the phone with the Suns right now offering Mudiay for Melton and a 2nd, but who am I kidding.

When Mills/Perry/Fiz look at Mudiay today, do you think they see a sub 50% TS% plus terrible defense and realize he’s still not good, or do you think they see 17 points and pat themselves on the back?

I think they see improvement and think “he’s only 22” and expect him to continue to improve

Hopefully they don’t look at the OT win over the Bucks and say “See, that’s what he’s capable of!”

If I was Frank when I saw daylight I’d do precisely what the other players on this team do … chuck em up from all angles and “save energy” on defense. That’s what they want in a player, right?

If you had to pick between Hezonja and Thomas to start with Mudiay, THJ, Vonleh and Kanter, who would you pick?

Thomas, easily. And I really don’t like Thomas.

Same. I figure he’s sitting for 5ish games like Dotson did. Frank was kinda checked out before he got sat. Fiz apparently works a particular way, we’ll see.

@41

Yeah, I agree. It seems that the coach direction is to play at least 3 chuckers on the court at all times.

I tuned out of Rockets and Jazz after half time and it was close, then suddenly it’s a 35 point lead for Utah and Derrick Favors seems to have been replaced by prime Karl Malone.

I’m thinking
