The Knicks travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves in the first game of a home and home with Minnesota. The two games are spread over three games, making the whole thing just really weird. What’s the point? NBA schedules are weird. Like Oklahoma City playing at home, then traveling to New York City for one game before returning right back home. Who schedules like that?
Anyhow, the Timberwolves have an awful record and they are in a major funk, but this is obviously a talented team, especially their big men, Dieng and reigning Rookie of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns, who is awesome and yet has taken a major back seat to Andrew freakin’ Wiggins in the Timberwolves offense for no good reason that I can think of.
Joakim Noah is out tonight, which might actually be a good thing for this team. Kyle O’Quinn will get the start.
Let’s go, Knicks!
