I have to say that the KCP move changed my opinion on the Sixers. Not because of KCP, as i think he is washed and won’t be a factor, but because it reminded me that they might be the most attractive place to go for veteran ring chasers come the buyout season post trade deadline. The “let’s help Lebron win the last one” movement will be pretty compelling, i think.
But hey, i think this suits us better, our team works better as the underdog. Knicks and Brunson winning a championship dismissed championships as someone said, and now other teams will be the favorites… this will all keep the fire under our team burning, and if that makes them keep focused and not relax a single bit by being the champions, that’s (very) good news for us.
