If you had said to me last year, “The Knicks will have a better record than the defending Eastern Conference champions 24 games into the season,” I would say, “Wait, did some team get hot and play above their expected success level during the playoffs?” and you would say, “Okay, yeah, but still, pretty cool, right?” and I would agree, it is pretty cool.
The Heat have lost 7 of their last 9 games, but are 2-2 in their last four, so either they’re coming back around or they just happen to have won 2 of their last 4.
A win today would give the Knicks a shot at reaching .500 in their next game (also against the Heat, only this time in Miami). How freakin’ sweeet would it be for a Knick team to actually be .500 26 games into the season?
Also, as part of our all-poll content here at Knickberblogger, I thought you all might like to try to settle this stirring debate…Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
Let’s go get to almost .500 (and pretend that Derrick Rose isn’t coming here), Knicks!
