I know we’re supposed to be happy to lose, but that was actually kind of depressing watching our young guys get their asses kicked all over the Garden floor

I wish we could’ve lost on a night when Frank and Kevin both played well. But they’ve had other nights where they’ve looked good against better teams than this. So just enjoy the crucial taking victory, and worry about the rest on a different night.

We really wanted this L, we revived Lance Thomas back from whatever crypt he’s been hibernating in.

Had to bench Hardaway with an “injury” to stop the broken chucker twice a day syndrome.

Harden tonight had his 3rd career game with 40pts/5reb/5ast/5stl. The only players with more is Clyde Drexler with 4 and Jordan with 10(!).

Great article. It’s really hard to get somebody to do a puff piece on you and then come off looking worse than you already did going into it, but Dolan’s used to achieving surprising distinctions in loserdom. The sheer arrogance of rich assholes is truly amazing. “Don’t worry, I’m clever enough to talk my way into them feeling sorry for me.” “What in the world ever gave you the impression that you were clever?” “I’m rich, aren’t I?”
