Game 4: Knicks Destroy Hawks on the Road (114-98) – Tie Series at 2-2

Led by Karl Anthony Towns’ triple double (20-10-10), the Knicks beat the Hawks in Atlanta to even the series at 2 games apiece. Four of the five Knick starters were at least +11, except for Bridges (+0). Clarkson (+12) and McBride (+13) chipped in with quality minutes off the bench, as well as Mitch (+5 in 15 minutes). The Knicks outscored the Hawks in the first 3 quarters, and opened up the 4th quarter with a 21 point lead.

Game 5 to be in New York on Tuesday.

Better performance today from Mikal but still… Deuce is the better player. Deuce is a better overall defender and they’re similar in value on the offensive end. Mikal is better at being more famous, Deuce helps you win more.

Needs to be studied how a 6′ 6″ guy with long ass arms can’t provide the impact of a 6′ 2″ guy with the same players next to them .

Glad Deuce seems to have found his game…given the Shamet magical mystery tour looks like it is terminated. We need that firepower off the bench (or in the starting lineup but I don’t see it happening).

Watched the game at home with a guy who wrangled us into season tickets the day after Ewing was drafted, so it was a very enjoyable night for us. KAT was awesome, everyone did what you wanted them to for the most part.

So now it’s a 3-game series where we have home court. LET’S GOOOOO!!!
