Daylight savings here. So from now on if i get here and the game is already on the way, i can’t use it as an excuse. LOL

I’m getting the sense that i’m the only european regular at the moment, good times when we had Farfa, Max, KYN, and others. I get it, teams is good and because of that there’s not as much to complain about as before, but I imagined we all would be here when we’d be good and on the verge of a championship.

There’s not much to complain about but it’s a boring regular season, same players, same results as last year, and their road to the finals could be a healthy Philadelphia, Boston, and Detroit. Expect 100,000 comment threads if they make it.

Yeah, i think whatever happens in the playoffs, we’ll have all the people back, or at least i hope so. 😉

Congrats to all my Illini friends today!

Wish I could watch Duke/UConn, but will be on the road. Helluva matchup.

Yeah, cyber, I miss those guys…especially the graded recaps after every game. Seems like decades ago!

howdy cyber, hope the sunshine is out there working, and you’re getting the chance to do some nature bathing…

I am so done with all the clock switching – twice a year, makes no sense…pick a time and just stick with it already…

we got another beautiful summer day in the area…boys are on spring break, my fitness activity is about to go through the roof…plus all the cooking and cleaning…getting old, but I can do this…old dads rule…just got to be a little more judicious with energy expenditure…

    and others

I’m still lurking (on Milan time) FWIW. Haha.

Btw I re-watched HUSTLE on Netflix last night and spotted Jordan Clarkson (“as himself”) among the cast.

    Can’t wait for playoffs.

Amari Allen and Flory Bidunga, respectively, although neither would probably get meaningful minutes next season.

Allen is interesting to me, Flory I think I’d go in a different direction . Maybe Morez Johnson. I could also see them being interested in Joshua Jefferson.

Sean Manaea got through a couple of innings without allowing a run, but he looks brutally bad. Throwing 88 MPH fastballs out of the bullpen.

He’s out there in the late innings of a tied game, just bonkers to me.

Happy Birthday Clyde! There really are no words to describe how much you have meant to me, and to my immediate family.

But beyond that, My fandom started shortly before you were a rookie, so I got to appreciate virtually every game you played until I went to college in the fall of ’74. For a period of 6 years, you played over 3000 minutes every season, and just missed in your sophomore year at 2,949. You also played almost 4000 playoff minutes. And yet, you never once got a technical foul, despite being involved in nearly every play on both ends. What an absolute joy it was to watch you play and root for you during those years. Willis and Patrick have their place, but you are indeed the most beloved Knick of all time, and will be forever.

I don’t generally watch a lot of college hoop anymore, but am staying with friends who are into it, and wow, that was something. Duke had such a big lead for so long, and then…wow.
