Since we cut Evboumwan, I’d love to see us sign Bufkin, Baldwin Jr, or Olivier Sarr to that spot. If I was in charge I’d cut Jemison as well and sign Sarr and one of Bufkin or Baldwin Jr.
As for small moves what about Yabusele and a couple 2nds for Bagley Jr? Or Yabusele and the Wizards pick back for Bagley and at least one of the 2nds we would have gotten from the pick not conveying? With that trade they can not worry about winning and also have more 1sts available to trade if they want to go for Young.
I like McBride starting. I think that’s a good move.

This was a much-needed win. The Knicks played with more energy and determination tonight. Kawhi and Harden looked empty down the stretch. I hope they enjoyed NYC nightlife yesterday. 😊 I liked that the Knicks had JB off the ball often and used KAT in the offense more. Defense was up and down but very good in the fourth quarter. We need consistency! We won the rebounding battle but gave them 15 offensive bounds! This is crazy! Paint protection was a little better tonight.

The only thing I love more than Kolek and Deuce is Kolek and Deuce playing together.

I didn’t like Trae in the draft. I thought he was a no defense inefficient scorer. I didn’t like him as a rookie either, but then it looked I was wrong about him, at least on offense. Now I’m less sure. Maybe I was right all along. He needs a change. But his defense is so bad I’m not sure you can build a serious contender with him. You are going to need some very specific players.

Yeah, Trae Young has been so off lately that it really is addition by subtraction for Atlanta, and it gives them a ton of cap space next season.

Yabu aside, that’s what has to be kept in mind for this team. The Clips were tailor-made for us. In fact, the schedule will be kinder for a while in that regard.
59 rebounds (vs. 47) and 31 assists (vs. 21) are good numbers to see.
