To be clear, I do not in any way endorse the Sweep the Leg, Johnny strategy. But if Thomas Thibodeau were to open the game with Jericho Sims at center, just long enough to grab Embiid’s knee during the opening tip, I would at least understand it.

What I really want from Thibs is an offensive strategy that puts Embiid in lots of PnR action and takes advantage of his laziness and unwillingness to move.

    Scotto:

“New York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic underwent an MRI, which showed ligament damage in his left wrist, league sources told @hoopshype. Bogdanovic will play through the wrist injury for the rest of the NBA playoffs and surgery will be a potential option during the offseason.“

Rough news about Bogey. Sadly if he’s not shooting well there’s literally no reason whatsoever to play him, so hopefully this is more of a pain tolerance thing that doesn’t impact him too much.

As I sit on my Megabus to Philly, I’m wondering if Precious is actually pretty well suited to guard this version of Embiid, who isn’t really bullying guys with his size so much as destroying us with jumpers. Any word on Mitch?

Honestly, we should focus more on stopping Maxey. If he’s cold the sixers can’t win with Embiid alone. He can score 50 and they still lose.

If the Sixers lose today and go back to NY down 3-1, game 5 is going to be absolute nightmare for Embid with the MSG crowd. I’m really hoping to see that because while undeniable great, Embid has always been a guy that can dish it out more than he can take it. He has also crumbled in the biggest games before. I’m really hoping to see that.

Matinees aren’t good for us. I’m worried

Home matinees have been bad for us.

Though this might be close to a home game with the # of fans I’ve heard are making the trip

I’m really sick and tired of hearing the phrase “if he were 100%” referring to the Philly scumbag. The truth is different. If Julius Randle were in the Knicks lineup, this would most likely be a quick sweep.

Unfortunately for us, not only is Randle out, but now Robinson is also not playing because of Dirty Embiid. Shouldn’t THIS be the focus of the media conversation?

This is the game to win.

Put this series in a stranglehold. Round two opponent looking very beatable.

Win this and the conference finals are in play. Let’s go!

I have faith that our guys will take it up a notch today due to the circumstances.

I wonder if Philly will have a hard time attracting players. If I was a star I wouldn’t want to team up with Embiid. Between him being a whiny baby who plays dirty and his long list of constant injuries I wouldn’t want to have to go to war with him. Imagine having to stand by him and defend his behavior because he is your teammate.

And then when he plays he gets all the media attention. He has had ten times the coverage of Maxey even though Maxey has played better, is more likable, and way more entertaining to watch.

Let’s hope his knee explodes, hopefully, after we win the series so there is no asterisk, and we don’t have to find out who teams up with him next year.
