Don Nelson got the last laugh at the Knicks by taking Stephen Curry with the seventh pick in 2009 — one spot ahead of Mike D’Antoni’s Knicks. The Curry-to-the-Knicks furor put the electric point guard out of Davidson on the lottery radar. In 2014, Warriors ownership…

So if we had KP, a top 2019 pick, and KD switched teams, we would’ve won, right?

I figure we’re champs next year.

I don’t mind losing this one, but WTF is Lance Thomas doing in a 4th quarter against the Warriors?

Theories on Fiz rotations in the second half. Pick your favorite:

    1. Like he told the best guys, he thought the younger players were gassed.
    2. He’s a stealth tank commander.
    3. Contrary to what we’ve seen in previous games, he’s actually bad at rotations (which Memphis fans complained about)
    4. Despite starting a bunch of kids, he still ultimately defers to Proven (to be mediocre) Veterans.

Loved what I saw from Frank. Hardaway, on the other hand? He decided he was going to out-Steph Steph with all those shots from another zip code. That a couple went in only made it worse.
