Blake Griffin had 26 points and 12 rebounds and Chris Paul had 19 points and 15 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers held on for a 102-96 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, forcing a Game 7 in their first-round series.
They were separated by 22 victories in the regular season and a mere nine points so far in the playoffs.
Facing elimination, the Clippers fought back every San Antonio rally and won Game 6 behind Blake Griffin and Chris Paul.
Mike Dunleavy scored 20 points and the Chicago Bulls came close to an NBA playoff record, finally putting away the Milwaukee Bucks with a 120-66 victory in Game 6 to clinch their first-round series Thursday night.
