    1. FiveThirtyEight has a new NBA projection system. It’s called CARMELO.

60 wins, people. That’s the floor.

    2. Seems like Phil is targeting strong offensive rebounders without the same concern for defensive rebounding ability.

Is that a meaningfully good or bad strategy?

    3. Tyson Chandler with a higher projection than Carmelo? That’s so silly. Everyone knows Tyson can’t hit the step-back 20-footer with any kind of consistency. The smell test: flunked.

We all understand your man crush on Chandler, but the “analysis” is based on the last 3 season where Anthony had a horrid season last year on a half a leg for 40 games that skews the data.

My education is Math/Science based and I’m certainly not a Luddite, but sometimes the statistical analysis is loltastic.

Career ws/48 Chandler ranks way ahead of Robert Parrish, Ewing and Willis Reed….. c’mon. Who would you prefer to be the 5 on your team?

In career Of Rtg Chandler ranks 15 ALL TIME (one spot behind Michael Jordan) and way ahead of big men like Jabbar, Novitski and The Admiral.

      Funny stuff…..

    5. There’s a chill in the evening air, the plants are beginning to wither, people are making snarky comments about Tyson Chandler-its almost time for Knicks games!
