Fairly nice start, no defense to speak of, but at least they’re missing shots…

Towns is so unappealing on the court, but as long as heā€™s a Knick I will root for him like heā€™s my firstborn.

Even OG is helping off good shooters. It’s infuriating. They give up open shot after open shot after open shot. I’m so done with this stuff.

My inner BBA would like to say that with so many former Knicks in the stands this would be the most unforgivable loss of the season.

I think itā€™s basically reversion to the mean. The Suns shot so horribly at the beginning I was expecting them to get a run of makes and catch up.

For no particular reason I’m remembering the opprobrium here when it was leaked that Phil was considering trading KP for Booker

I mean the entire team ran to defend the paint even though Booker was still at the 3pt line with the ball which naturally lead to Allen being wide fucking open for 3 like what are we doing.

Diawara is raw as hell, but just his size and length package makes a difference. That’s the kind of bench player we need, except not a raw one.

On the KFS pregame pod, the Suns guy initially said he wanted Yabu because they need a PF. Maybe if he looks good they will take him off our hands!

Yabu somehow a plus 8 in a game where Deuce (of course) and Diawara are the only other positive

Phoenix picked up Colin ( 2 way contract) when Denver who drafted him cut him. He really took a leap with the Suns. Much better than Kolek

Putting Clarkson in and relying on him to knock down open 3s is tactical malpractice

In addition to our terrible defense, Mike Brown has gotten all the rotations wrong. There is no reason Clarkson should have been closing this game. KAT is mentally weak and is pretty much unplayable now it seems. Without Brunson, no one is clutch.

The downfall continues and thereā€™s doesnā€™t seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I should probably stop watching this team till they get their act together which who knows when that will happen

Josh is actually our second best player this season Iā€™m pretty sure. We look absolutely soulless without him (and Brunson ofc.)

I’m so mad at these guys. KaT is hot garbage. He’s an all star? Getting paid $60m for offense. When was his last 30 point game? He scored 25+ 10 games ago, he’s had games of 2, 6 and 9 points. This is full raging level of concern. Our 2nd best offensive player looks to be mcbride. Is there a worse 2nd best player on a winning team in the entire NBA?

Also our two smartest players are josh and JB. McBride I trust too. Everyone else on offense makes mind numbing plays , we have no brain right now

You get leads in the 1st and 3rd and you put in tank commander Clarkson . Kolek could be added to that

The same Dolan who wants the entire roster to play . He just went on Cartons show on WFAN and said that . Last coach got fired because he wouldnā€™t play his bench . Dolan seemed fine with it

Weā€™ve gotta get another center and just play KAT at power forward because this isnā€™t working. Also, that strengthens our bench by putting Hart back there and then we can cut the fat a bit.

Seriously: it’s early to talk about coaching change, Brown should be given the change to turn things around. At the same time, think about it: tonight they tried, they played hard. Either they don’t have the talent or something else.

Johnlocke, I almost did a spit-cup when you called Josh one of the two smartest players on the team. I think you’ve forgotten that he’s good for at least two amazingly atrocious brain fart plays a game.

Outside of that he does, in fact, have a very good BB IQ and is usually in the right place at the right time. Plus he is in sixth gear all game long, so he hardly ever disappears. And he makes things happen, almost all of them good (except for those two guaranteed brain farts).

I think they really miss him because of the energy he brings.

The Knicks are 1.5 games out of first place in the Atlantic Division.

Everything is about the playoffs for evaluating Mike Brown, but if he leads this team to the play -in thatā€™s a major strike against him .
