NBA admits multiple blown calls in wild Knicks-Sixers Game 3

Waiting for this headline, but not holding my breath.

We need to get past it. They held serve. Big deal. We break the next one.

I thought that was a really good performance from the team last night. We’re just not going to win when Embiid scores 50.

Josh Hart is shooting 52% from 3 for the series. Brunson is fine. OG woke up. We need to get Donte going.

As someone who has advocated for Embiid to be The Trade, I formally withdraw my statement and change my position. I want no part of him. It’s all I can do not to wish injury on him after that performance last night.

Embiid’s kneeing of iHart in the groin can arguably be called gamesmanship, but the takedown of Mitch was clearly with intent to injure and should have resulted in expulsion. No chance that happens to a former MVP. The result is the possibility that Mitch may not be available, or much less effective, an outcome that could strongly influence the outcome of the series. It’s sickening.

the takedown of Mitch was clearly with intent to injure

I’m curious to see whether Philly fans, players, coaches and “neutral” NBA watchers see it this way. I think we at KB would be appalled if our player did that. I know I would be.

We don’t whine enough to make it a big deal. Mitchell Robinson just put his boot on and walked out. He didn’t sit at his locker room crying like Embiid, showing videos of it on his phone, etc.

That Last 2 Minute report was pretty harmful, IMO, because it legitimized their griping. “The Sixers got robbed” became the national consensus, and this game was played like they were owed something.

The efficacy of being a little bitch in this league is confounding. You’d think a guy who embarrassed the league and showed up the refs would have a hard time getting special treatment but it’s the other way.

Embiid is one of those pussy ass bitches (sorry for the language but it applies) who after committing a dirty foul does the “who me?” routine. He’s been doing that shit his whole career but when you watch him for 3 straight games it’s nauseating.

And making the sarcastic challenge signal after a Knick commits a weak foul on him is equally annoying.

I pray with all my heart we don’t pursue him this offseason. He’s the fucking worst.

I don’t think Embiid is coming here ever. He is not Leon’s type of guy.

BTW, Embiid’s “explanation” quoted in the Athletic.

“I was trying to make sure he doesn’t land on me because obviously, we know what happened when (Golden State Warriors wing Jonathan) Kuminga landed on my knee,” said Embiid, who injured his knee on a similar play earlier this season. “I kind of had some flashbacks. It’s unfortunate because I didn’t mean to hurt anybody. It’s just in those situations where I have to protect myself because I’ve been in way too many situations where I’m always at the bad end of it.”

Knicks have to be more political in responding to this situation. Thibs clearly was, but it wouldn’t hurt if Leon stepped away from his vow of silence and publicly criticized the non-calls on Embiid.

The media handling of this is despicable. I posted this last night, but look at how the AP reported this game:

“Embiid mostly kept his cool and was in the mix on both ends of the court all game.”

“Embiid had 17 points, three fouls and he even grabbed Mitchell Robinson and dragged him to the court in a first half where they again weren’t good enough to look like a team that could beat the Knicks.”

“Game 3 was played without any significant disputes with the officiating after the NBA said the referees missed several late calls in Game 2.”

Two lies and a pat on the back for dirty play.

The media handling of this is despicable.

The media’s handling of virtually everything is despicable.

If you develop some expertise in almost any area or story and then read the coverage, you are guaranteed to get pissed off. The people covering almost any topic or story almost always either have less expertise than you, spin the story or purposely lie to advance an agenda. Most of them are right up there with politicians, lawyers, and Satan.

Also, Embiid receiving 2 more free throws than the entire Knicks team isn’t really a product I want to watch, NBA.

Other than the Mitch injury and obviously the fact we did not win, I am not very disappointed with last night. As Hubert said, the players we need to play well did play well. The Embiid flagrants had the dual effects of negating the game 2 calls forever and signalling that no way a Knicks player is getting tossed. Since we are the more physical side that should bode well for hard fouls. Let’s grab game 4 and embarrass them at MSG. No game 6 please.

Funny we were worried about playing Miami and having Bam injure our players when Philly could just do it instead

https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1780615494112104847 seems like this Lakers reporter was correct, he wanted the Lakers to tank the play in game and play for the 8th seed and got a bunch of flack for it.

As for Embiid, the Knicks should’ve punched him in the face. This is another problem facing this team you have to watch Embiid take a million free throws. Are people entertained by a fixed product? It’s why the NBA has been losing viewers for years now.. No other player in the league outside of maybe Giannis is gifted free throws like him.

I’m curious to see whether Philly fans, players, coaches and “neutral” NBA watchers see it this way.

Neutral fans don’t like to see players ejected. But we also don’t like to see players get hurt. Objectively, Embiid should have been ejected with a flagrant 2. But he put up a great performance yesterday, limping around to score 50 points (for reference, that’s 46 more than Willis scored in his famous limping on the court game); so, as a neutral fan, I was happy to have seen that.

The reputation of the 1990s Knicks prolly fueled the Philly response to game two. They thought we bullied and stole a win, so made an adjustment.

I think Payne was interviewed on the sideline about what adjustments Philly had made if any, and he just kept repeating: “Physical. We want to get more physical.” And you could see it on just about every play from the first whistle. Philly players were diving into our guys, hip checking, and so on, in addition to the obvs Embiid stuff.

Thing is: this iteration of the Knicks plays much (much!) cleaner ball than the 1990s squads. Our current guys just play hard for 48 minutes, but I don’t see any “enforcers” or even guys that make hard fouls to “send a message.” As someone opined last night, there was no Mason or Oak to just lay Embiid out on the floor after that play on Mitch. It was almost comical (nay was comical) to watch Divo try to back Joel down.

I suppose one net “negative” in accumulating high character guys is that we don’t have someone who is unpredictable and strikes fear in the heart of the opponent. We’re all pretty much nice. Someone else mentioned hockey last night, and it was a bit of the old time Philly Broad Street Bullies out there. I’m curious to see how we respond next game.

Complete weaksauce. I intentionally injured another player to stop him from possibly landing on me doesn’t pass the smell test. No one thinks that quickly. He was pissed and reflexively grabbed MR’s leg like Khan reaching out from the grave to destroy Kirk and the Enterprise.

And of course, that doesn’t explain him unnaturally extending his leg which just happened to coincidentally land in MR’s nutsack, kneeing I Hart in the “thigh” and blindsiding OG in the back court.

Great player but a complete scumbag. When he gets his comeuppance it will be a fine day!

If Embiid ‘s knee gets blown apart at any point going forward I will be happy about it. Fuck him.

The media running with Embiid’s offensively stupid line that he was just trying to protect himself from Mitch falling on his knee is going to give me a stroke. Mitch was jumping away from Joel who grabbed him and threw him down, come the fuck on.

The kind of ridiculous thing too is that they started to call fouls on all possessions in the last 3-4 minutes, including on Brunson, which made it even more infuriating. It basically negated any possibility of stops that could help the Knicks cut down on the deficit.

Also, how about Nurse’s claim that he “didn’t see” the play. The guy who complains about every fucking team.

I hate people like that. It’s always someone else’s fault. Never any accountability. No wonder they were all hired by Morey, the guy who can’t pack his bags or return his rental car to the proper place.

I can’t wait for these guys to come to MSG. I hope we can close it in 5.

I hate people like that. It’s always someone else’s fault.

iHart’s post-game interview is the opposite ~ “When I realized they were calling small fouls, I should have done a better job of staying out of foul trouble.”

Also the TNT guys on Batum’s late block of iHart and Embiid hitting him in the face afterwards:

    — “Ooh, that’s a foul.”
    — “No, he don’t have the ball anymore.”
    — “You still can’t hit him in the face, even if he don’t have the ball.”

They all laugh. Hahahaha. That block/non call was crucial, too.

Well, this series got really heated really quick.

Fuck Joel Embiid. How does the refs possibly missing some small fouls during our comeback (while also missing fouls against us) at all equal them letting Embiid get away with shit like that? We weren’t trying to intentionally hurt any in that mad scramble. We just wanted it more.

And if Mitch is truly hurt and can’t comeback, that can literally change this series because he’s been guarding Embiid so well (how fucking convenient).

If Mitch is not hurt, Thibs should throw Sims out there for a few minutes to hip check the shit out of Embiid.

nevertheless…we were in it the whole game. It took Embiid constantly parading to the free throw line (how is that enjoyable basketball) and then getting insanely hot from 3 in the third quarter to beat us.

But we gotta nip this shit in the bud next game and put these bitches in their places.

Also, PLAYOFF FUCKING BASKETBALL. Gotta love it.

At least Precious has historically guarded Embiid very well. He is not Mitch, but he’s better than Sims at that job. Sims would foul out in a quarter.

If Mitch is not hurt, Thibs should throw Sims out there for a few minutes to hip check the shit out of Embiid.

The clean version of this is a strategy we actually should employ. Remember when we used to play the Bulls Phil Jackson used 4 centers to guard Ewing so they could get 24 fouls. We absolutely should have Precious (when Mitch is healthy) or Sims come in and be extremely physical with Embiid for 2-3 minutes per half.

We absolutely should have Precious (when Mitch is healthy) or Sims come in and be extremely physical with Embiid for 2-3 minutes per half.

    Definitely.

I don’t expect the NBA to suspend Embiid but I do think they will review some of those fouls and could assess points. (The league assesses 1 pt per Flagrant 1, and 2 pts per flagrant 2; when you get a certain number of points, suspension is automatic a la Green in the NBA finals. They review fouls after the game to ensure the correct penalty was assessed.)

He potentially earned 4 points last night (2 on the Mitch takedown, 1 on the kick to the balls, 1 on the filthy hip check), but was only assessed 1.

Hubert I don’t think they could give him 4 points after the fact and then not suspend him since 2 in a game is ejection. They’ll either act like they didn’t see anything and maybe through back channels tell him they’re going to watch him extremely close for any more shit, or they’ll have to suspend him. I’m figuring the first.

As someone who has advocated for Embiid to be The Trade, I formally withdraw my statement and change my position. I want no part of him. It’s all I can do not to wish injury on him after that performance last night.

I tend to do a decent job of being unemotional about opposing players–I never got on board the Trae Young hate train and find most “fuck [Player X]” situations to be a simple case of “he’s good and on the other team.”

This is totally different. I have a materially lower opinion of Joel Embiid than I did 24 hours ago. I have never seen someone so obviously intentionally try to injure opposing players, and in Mitch’s case there’s every reason to believe it was specifically because Mitch gives him so much trouble.

It’s compounded by the fact that he continued to whine to the refs at every opportunity, as he has throughout the series, despite having maybe the most generous whistle in the NBA.

Fuck Joel Embiid. I didn’t think I could get more emotionally invested in the playoff success of the New York Knicks, but kicking the Sixers’ ass has now become personal.

Best case scenario is the refs are told he’s treated like a normal player for the rest of the series. No more breath fouls.

    Hey, Malik Nabers, though!

Kudos to the Giants for not fucking that up. I know it was a 3-1 fastball down the middle but we’ve seen them blow that before! It’s nice to have a competent front office.

And getting Burns for our 2nd round pick was another home run. One of the best offseasons we’ve had here in ages.

The Nabers pick will come down to how good McCarthy becomes and if Daniel Jones is really the answer at QB. McCarthy is going to a great situation in Minnesota.

“We absolutely should have Precious (when Mitch is healthy) or Sims come in and be extremely physical with Embiid for 2-3 minutes per half.”

“Fuck Joel Embiid. I didn’t think I could get more emotionally invested in the playoff success of the New York Knicks, but kicking the Sixers’ ass has now become personal.”

I think we are all on the same page here. Some sort of physical response is called for and I think the players should know that without having to be told.

I don’t think JJ McCarthy is particularly special and taking him over Nabers would have been an incredible mistake. Kinda like the mistake Gettelman made taking Daniel Jones in the first place. Guys like Jones and McCarthy are available every single year. Guys like Nabers are rare. We’re fortunate to have him.

A series this physical I would love to have Randle right now.

I was thinking about this last night because Josh Hart is playing so well at PF do we really miss Randle? Then I looked at Donte’s stat line and realized that’s probably who Randle would be replacing. If regular season Donte shows up (the percentage is there, but the volume is lacking) I don’t think we miss Randle but right now we feel his absence.

If regular season Donte shows up (the percentage is there, but the volume is lacking)

Still early, but his FG% this series (.370) is below his career playoff FG% (.380). He’s averaging 12.8 PTS/36 this series versus his career playoff mark of 11.7. Paltry.

He was and is a playoff risk.

Knicks can definitely still win this series.

Remember when we used to play the Bulls Phil Jackson used 4 centers to guard Ewing so they could get 24 fouls.

This. And if they’re gonna call the fouls *anyway* then make them count.

Also, from my post above, Randle is the guy we miss. He is unpredictable and a physical force who would keep some of them on their heels. Donte, not so much.

And, though I don’t really miss his game, RJ had a temperament that might be useful in the same way.

Yeah, in Thibs’s presser, he said they were scoring just as he wants. It’s the D.

Although a Randle beatdown would be lovely, and Embiid is clearly an asshat, the key to winning games is still going to be making shots.

We are the better rebounding team (losing Mitch would hurt though), so if we can just hit more threes than them, we can shut the book on this series.

And yes, both the Jets and the Giants seem to be making great moves… very strange to see.

EDIT: also meant to say that the 21 Embiid FTs were clearly to balance out game 2’s “blown calls” so yeah, I think the whistle should be more even-handed moving forward.

That’s a pretty fascinating take from the Ringer. I didn’t realize it was Jalen Brunson’s job to stop Joel Embiid.

If they manage to get Embiid switched onto any PG in the NBA, they’ve done a great job. That’s not really “hunting” Jalen Brunson.

Yeah, praise Donte. No doubt. Only saying Randle is more like the enforcers of 90s Knicks. If Embiid were to knee Randle in the groin, Joel would suddenly have a big problem.

If Bojan Bogdanovich pulled that shit Embiid pulled, he would have gotten a flagrant 2. Obvious star treatment, and embarrassing.

But whatever – Knicks played well enough to win that game, Sixers shooting was ridiculously hot. Very tight series. I liked Precious’s minutes for the most part. Hartenstein has to stay on the floor and Donte needs to get more shots up.

Also loved the way the team still NEVER quits – I just don’t see them losing 3 out of 4 to anyone.

I don’t think Embiid is coming here ever. He is not Leon’s type of guy.

Embiid was one of Leon’s clients.

But that doesn’t seem to matter as much as people think.

Embiid is an absolutely incredible player, but I would find him very hard to root for. Does not fit with this team spiritually.

A series this physical I would love to have Randle right now.

Yes, a healthy Randle is a beast of a rebounder and scorer and plays extremely physical in a way where he’s constantly attacking dudes. We could use him right now for sure.

I think if Robinson is out, we should try OG on Embiid when IHart sits. Go small with no center and make Embiid guard a shooter in space. He is completely vulnerable trying to guard the perimeter. Embiid is doing much of his damage outside and putting a smaller defender, but one still large enough to pester his shots, like OG, should be effective since he doesn’t really seem to want to bang inside.

Also, I agree with the hard fouls. Put Sims in for a couple minutes each half and get super physical, go under his legs on jump shots, get in his body when he posts up, put him on the ground hard like 3 times, eat the free throws, and then sub out Sims. Don’t try to hurt him, just make him aware of his fragility, and put him on the ground a bit. Make him earn and really feel his trips to the free throw line.

and Donte needs to get more shots up

I haven’t really paid attention to what Philly is doing here to limit his attempts. Has anyone noticed? I suspect it’s the trickle-down effect of their work against Brunson but that’s just a guess.

A compilation of dirty by Embiid from about a year ago.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeVps9hdrFM

Watching this compilation makes me pretty angry.

I think I actually want him to have a career-ending injury. I am not one to root for players getting hurt even players I hate. I don’t want to win that way and I don’t want player’s careers threatened but Embiid is dangerous and since the league won’t reign him in he won’t stop. He needs his knee to absolutely explode. He’s earned plenty of money so I wish him well after he is done but he has no place on an NBA court. I think he is dirtier than Green, who I don’t honestly think wants to hurt people he is just trying to get in their heads and has a temper. Embiid, on the other hand, I think legitimately wants to hurt people.

Sorry guys. I let us down yesterday by putting my personal honor, which is really just a form of vanity, above the team. I predicted Brunson would be terrible and we would win. What happened? Brunson was great and we lost in an incredibly costly, infuriating, and unfair fashion.

This is much more demoralizing than anything that happened to Philly in G2. Refs missing calls is one thing. Refs allowing a player to literally take out his best defender in a play that has more resemblance to an MMA move than an NBA move, and then continually rewarding that player with more FTA than the entire opposing team when he spends all day chucking jumpshots…

This game was fucking rigged. It felt like watching Donald Trump skate by all his legal troubles with endless special treatment at every level all the way up to SCOTUS. It makes me not want to be a basketball fan anymore, and wish I never was.

I renounce all vows towards positivity because this game undid all the good vibes from G2 and then some. We have lost this series because:

-Embiid is clearly 100% or close enough
-Our best defender against him is out for the rest of the series. iHart is probably next.
-He gets a custom rulebook where he gets Shaq’s FTA rate on soft-ass perimeter jump shots. It’s functionally illegal to play defense.
-Their guys get to mug us all game on the perimeter. They get a “clean” strip on our guards every fucking play it seems
-Their coach/GM can just flip a game any time they want by whining about the refs. Ours just makes a few classy innuendoes and gets back to work, a clearly inferior strategy in this league

So there it is, we lose in 6 and it goes down as another run of disappointment, gut punches, and broken dreams. The Iron Law of Knicks fandom holds: anything good that happens is only to set up a greater disappointment down the road.

Saw a video on Twitter that 24 years ago today in Game 2 Spree hit the game winning shot with a few secs left over Vince Carter.

It was pretty cool seeing the videos of Spree, Melo and Starks celebrating at MSG the other day after DDV’s 3pter.

Joel Embiid has Bell’s palsy? Now all the other poor folk who suffer from that unfortunate affliction will have to face people’s assumption that it also makes you act like an asshole.

Yeah. They released that information to change the narrative. Feel bad for Joel, he’s sick!

Joel Embiid has Bell’s palsy? Now all the other poor folk who suffer from that unfortunate affliction will have to face people’s assumption that it also makes you act like an asshole.

That whole story originates from a typo. What they meant to say is that he has a knee condition known as “Smells Ballsy,” caused by accumulated residue from the impact of his knee into multiple opposing players’ groins.

The condition is especially serious when corrupt referees overlook multiple obvious flagrant fouls because they want to keep your team in the series to boost the ratings.

    To paraphrase:

Embiid had flashbacks of Mitch stomping his ass for the last 2 games and was scared it would happen again

    To paraphrase:

“I gang-tackled the mo-fo and threw him down onto my surgically reconstructed knees because he was frustrating me.”

    Lying sack of shit.

    Embiid this series:

    70 FGA
    24 3FGA, 46 2FGA
45 FTA. Nearly 1 FTA per 2 point shot attempt, most of those being stand still jump shots.

#1 in the entire playoffs at 15 FTA/game. No other player above 10.

His ratio of FTA to 2p FGA leaves 2006 Wade in the dust. At least Wade was actually attacking the basket that series.

The league is a joke. Embiid would be plenty successful if he was officiated fairly. Why do they need to do this?

Why do they need to do this?

I don’t know. Philly is a “big” market but not as big as NYC, LA, or Chicago.

Embiid is hurt half the time. He’s a lumbering big so rarely has flashy highlight plays. He mumbles half the time and has no fun personality either like Magic or others did. Not really sure why the league feels the need to prop him up.

Embiid was one of Leon’s clients.

Wow. I wouldn’t have suspected. Our current Leon-team seems squeaky clean by comparison.

I do appreciate that a lot of media outlets are going “Boy, it sure looked like he should have been thrown out.” Either two Flagrant 1s or a Flagrant 2. Or both.

Any word if the Knicks have reached out to NBA brass, or has the NBA come out with an official statement?

I won’t go into the foul shots thing as 1) officiating sucks, 2. referees suck, 3. your team is always at the losing end of biased officiating (which feels just a tad illogical to me); but I do think it got pretty egregious in that game. Hope the Knicks reached out formally on that, too.

Man this place is dead today. Looks like Embiitch really did steal our souls

Maybe nobody’s interested in the clown and puppet (there was a you here before you, you realize) act today. Maybe there’s no point in any of the Embiid stuff because it just opens the door to some false equivalence with the end of game 2. It all happened and it’s just like everybody says but it’s not why they won. They won because they hit threes on like eight straight possessions in the third quarter which is unsustainable but kind of hard to lose when it happens. They’re at -185 for game 4 after -225 game 3. Embiid doing Embiid things is a sideshow.

    Who’s the puppet?

You don’t think Embiid getting more FTA than our entire team is relevant to why they won? You don’t think the complete prohibition on our players playing defense had any effect on his shooting efficiency?

Why do you suppose the odds worsened for them after Game 3? If anything it should be better after such a “dominant” performance by Embiitch and us losing our best defensive player. Do you suppose some kind of referee overcorrection based on Nurse’s bitching was baked in?

It’s you and me, Pags. Let’s be positive together…

I am positive… that we’re fucked now because the league is bent on their designated “MVP” overcoming all odds in a feel-good story about his smells ballsy and the inspiring power of cheap shots.

He’s gonna end up with 100 FTA on all perimeter shots with more YouTube worthy cheap shots that personal fouls called on him and the NBA commentariat is gonna celebrate it like Christmas. It’s gonna make 2006 Wade look legitimate.

Obi came out of the bench to kill the Bucks (11 points, 5-5 in 4:42 1st quarter minutes), nice… I’m happy fot the guy

    Pags,

a lot was said yesterday in the game thread about Embiid and the officiating, not much to add in my opinion, the media glorification of the thug 50-points performance was to be expected (sadly).

I’m all for sportmanship and chivalric behaviour, but only for people who deserves it.
Embiid tried to hurt Mitch (and succeeded) so he has lost the right to my sportsman respect.

From now on I feel free to happily celebrate every injury that will hit the douchebag.

There’s also not a ton to say from a game plan perspective because we mostly lost due to Philly (largely Embiid) hitting a boatload of difficult-ish 3s in the 3rd quarter.

This is hardly me saying Philly can’t win the series–Embiid can of course do so again, we might get worse Brunson performances, a Mitch loss would be gutting, etc. Just that the game itself, with the major “fuck Embiid” exception, didn’t lend itself to a ton of discussion.

Absolutely agree with everyone saying how much they miss Randle right about now. He’s probably the closest thing we have to an old-fashioned enforcer type. Good Randle would be drawing fouls on Embiid left and right, and maybe making him a little more hesitant to try to injure all of our players.

Fuck Embiid, and also Fuck Jaime Jaquez.

Embiid shooting a lot of free throws isn’t an anomaly reserved strictly for makeup reffing to extend playoff series. He shot 23 FTs 8 games ago. The guy is 7’ tall, 280 lbs, and can score from anywhere within 25 feet of the basket. You have to play him physically, but you can’t hack a shaq him either because he shoots almost 90% from the line. So it’s a very fine line a defense has to walk. Sometimes you get away with more, sometimes less, like with any great offensive player. The game of basketball needs refs, and refs are fallible. That’s the main problem with the game, but it is what it is.

Without Giannis it’s impossible to evaluate this series

    *Sorry Obi lovers*

Ok but he gets reffed like no other player. 21 FTA on 19 FGA. 11 of those FGA were jump shots. Other bigs with similar shooting touch and better post games get a fraction of the calls. Explain to me how Jokic has about half his FTA rate despite a much less perimeter-heavy shot diet.

Brian Windhorst on NBA Today was the most prominent national media guy who was pretty adamant that Embiid should’ve been ejected.

Least he can do after that horse shit “dark arts” take he was spewing on Brunson a couple weeks ago.

A playoff win is a playoff win, of course, but boy, that the Pacers can barely edge out a Giannis-less Bucks team isn’t great.

I don’t understand teams not fouling up 3 in those situations. Brooks had the ball back to the basket. The Bucks had no timeouts. Isn’t Carlisle supposed to be a genius?

strategic fouling at the end of games should have been banned at Geneva

I have no idea what happened to Haliburton. The dude went from being one of the most confident players in the league to a shell of himself. He can’t make a shot to save his life. 1-12 from 3.

If Knicks get to play Milwaukee without Giannis they’ll outrebound them by 20 per game.

It is embarrassing seeing the Bucks get out-boarded by the Pacers.

The fact that it’s a tiny guard getting all these rebounds makes it worse

What a play call by Carlisle. Wow.

I thought that was more on Beverley, who seemed to slip.

I thought that was more on Beverley, who seemed to slip.

But that’s what you’re supposed to be able to do if you’re Hali, right?

Honestly don’t remember when Dame last scored in that game

They did throw, like, three dudes at him in the play in OT to keep him from getting the ball.

    Very entertaining game!

Middleton made two miracles but it wasn’t enough and Hali woke up just when they needed.

But how many offensive boards did the Pacers get in overtime?

Complete weaksauce. I intentionally injured another player to stop him from possibly landing on me doesn’t pass the smell test. No one thinks that quickly. He was pissed and reflexively grabbed MR’s leg like Khan reaching out from the grave to destroy Kirk and the Enterprise.

And of course, that doesn’t explain him unnaturally extending his leg which just happened to coincidentally land in MR’s nutsack, kneeing I Hart in the “thigh” and blindsiding OG in the back court.

Is it too late for the Knicks to sign Tonya Harding to the Playoff roster?

The draft pick the Mavs kept from the Knicks and drafted Lively plus the trade for Gafford has fixed their defense

You got teams consisting of Durant,Booker and Beal that might get swept.

Two of these guys are on Team USA in the Olympics

    What did you expect?
A secret button that activates RIGGED flags?

Embiid is a piece of shit
Unfortunately nba has promoted many dicks before so it’s not something new.
