Amin Elhassan had an interesting player comp for RJ. He brought up Harrison Barnes, and strangely enough- I am not mad at that. What he actually said was he could be a better version of Barnes. Prime Barnes was a good player. Consistent jumper, consistent defense, and took what the game gave him. If RJ can do that, coupled with the strengths he already has- we’ve got a reliable wing and a damn good player.
Thoughts?
Not gonna lie though, I’m not gonna hold my breath and wait on RJ to do that because even in Thibs’ system, the structure is not there to help RJ with the discipline it’s gonna take for him to achieve that. My personal opinion is that RJ needs to forget about his draft status and who he wants to emulate, and build & capitalize on his strengths. The thought that he has to be an all world player because he was drafted 3rd is going to sink his value. What really hurts him is the Knicks were scared to take a chance on Garland because there was so little film on him, and hindsight is always 20/20. Garland just happened to work out because Cleveland gave him the ball and his game creates space, whereas RJ is built to take advantage of space. Which he has NEVER had. I’m not mad at the pick because I still like RJ. But we REALLY need him to find the groove he found in the playoffs and stay there. We don’t need him to go for 20-plus all the time. I hope he realizes that

He doesn’t seem to realize that, at least not yet.
Dude, you can’t begin a sentence with a subordinate clause and an indirect object pronoun. Come on!
It was perfectly fine, as I pointed up to the previous post to point out what was being referenced, thereby taking care of the situation. Good try, though! 🙂
Yeah but using the same verb twice in one sentence? Smh
LOL Not really. “Point out” is a verbal phrase that is different than “point” when used by itself.
Grammarblogger!!!
Love it.
Also still love Carlos, the best player in the world.
Reusing words is frowned upon for aesthetic purposes but it’s not a grammatical error. However, capitalizing ‘H’ in ‘He’ means the upward carats were in a different sentence meaning the first criticism was accurate… or something 🤷
It wasn’t, though. You guys crack me up. (I do not mean that literally, of course!)
This seems like a perfect time for geo to write something out of the blue about ancient civilizations, doesn’t it?

doogie doogie doogie…
i will say this…my two new arcanists are coming along very nicely in eso’s cyrodiil (open world player versus player map), which consists of three competing player alliances: Daggerfall Covenent, Ebonheart Pact, and Aldmeri Dominion…thank you very much…
because they are sub level 50 toons (currently they are both at level 27) many enemy will think they are weaker toons…truth is – once you reach level 50 on one of your toons, you begin to accumulate champion points…
these champion points allow you to further advance your character builds…and, you are allowed to equip the champion points even on non max (level 50) toons…
in conjunction with that, the game allows for combat scaling…this allows for an increase in base stats (stamina, magicka, health and then also those resource pool recovery speeds) for sub level 50 toons…
so, it gives additional aid to lower level toons…
all that to say – i am seriously kicking pixel butt with my noob toons in pvp…
do you play any games doogie?
In Chinatown what up KBers
No. I do not.
