The Bucks seem to sometimes play down to their opponents, so this could be a trap game!
By the way, Frank Isola had an interesting article about Xavier Rathan-Mayes, who the Knicks had on their G-League team and is now on the Memphis Grizzlies. It’s interesting how there sometimes is effectively free talent that you could try out rather than spending $71 million on Tim Hardaway Jr.
Let’s go, Nick at Nite!

With every bad game by Mudiay we get one step closer to Collin Sexton so here’s hoping Mudiay shows signs of life.
Man Giannis’ side step on the drive is sooo massive. Not much the D can do when he can just step around them.
Man between Kanter’s D, Hardaway’s quick-trigger bricks, Mudiay’s total lack of awareness, and Thomas’ entire self, that starting lineup is pretty unwatchable.
Wow, 1000 times better on D with Williams and Dotson in there. The halfcourt O is pretty ugly though.
Holy crap, Burke let his hair out. I’m not feeling it!
Yeah I like this Frank, Williams, Dotson, KOQ, Beasley lineup. You gotta think if Williams can be a consistent defensive presence he makes Lance expendable.
First game I’ve caught since the unicorn went down. Burke? Williams (leading scorer)? Who the hell are these guys? What team is this? Why am I even watching?
Welcome to the shit show jotapay.
Troy Williams is actually pretty enjoyable to watch. Makes you wonder why Houston preferred Joe Johnson’s corpse over him
Wow. Close game. Mudiay comes back in. Bucks go on big run. Hornacek takes Mudiay out, Frank in. Knicks go on big run to end half.
Imagine how fun this team would be to watch if they had just gone with the young players all season? They would have lost more games, had a great chance at adding Doncic and they would have been fun to watch!!
Well this has been one hell of an entertaining shit show, so far. Lot of nice backdoor cuts and passes by KO. And Williams is a walking bucket.
@11
Yeah, but is that really conducive to establishing a “winning culture?”
🙂
Please NBA, stop showing the same 5-6 commercials time after time after time after time during game breaks. There’s only so much I can take of Common and Five Hour Energy.
Bizarre stats of the night (so far):
In 31 minutes, Frank has taken 4 shots (hit one).
In 3 minutes, Kornet has taken 5 shots (hit one).
That was enjoyable. In it till the 4th, finish with a nice loss.
Welcome to your 2018/19 New York Knicks (I hope).
got to catch pieces – yeah, that wasn’t too bad I don’t think…
frank can definitely use more time at the point…tell him he has to penetrate each possession – make him hold the ball and dribble for at least 15 seconds every single time down the court 🙂
on a slightly less gleeful note – first thing in the boxscore that I check now is mudiay’s turnovers…
