2016-17 Game Thread: Knicks vs. Lakers

NBA Game Times make absolutely no sense. Some days the Knicks play a 7, some days they play at 7:30. Is there a reason for the difference? I can’t see any.

Anyhow, the Knicks host the Lakers. Normally, I’d be worried, since the Lakers are terrible, but it sounds like Phil Jackson is committed to dealing Melo, so a win against an awful team is not that big of a deal. They’ll make it up later when they start losing in droves.

Let’s go? Knicks!

  1. We need Melo to go off tonight so that the people of Los Angeles demand his presence in their home town.

  2. Ingram is one of those dudes that look like they never learned how to run…

he looks so awkward, the opposite of smooth lol

  3. The tank is in full force

The best part about this is that a Lakers win means they also have an increased chance of giving up their pick to Philly

  4. High energy start! Way to come out physical and firing on all cylinders! This tank is rolling.

  5. The Lakers are awful. I’m assuming we win until they’re up double digits with a minute to play.

  6. Porzingis is playing so badly maybe we should sweeten any Melo deal by including him. lol

  7. Porzingis is playing so badly maybe we should sweeten any Melo deal by including him. lol

When will you delusional fools ever learn? Porzingis’ contract is so onerous that we’re going to have to give up assets to be rid of him. What team in their right mind would actually pay us to have Porzingis? None, but you deluded fools will go on thinking that we can dupe some GM into taking him off our hands and paying us for the privilege.

    Fools.

    /sarcastic Theo impersonation

  8. Still don’t believe it. Way too good to be true. We’ll come back, I’m sure of it.

  9. And people think we’re not bad enough to get Lonzo Ball

    Fools.

  10. this Lebron piece is the best thing I’ve read in a while, please let that be true.

Breen is pissed, poor dude… calling it an unacceptable start

  11. I could drive to the garden right now and play better than this. BTW, I’m 47 and I’ve been drinking wine for an hour.

  12. If I’m Jeff. I demand these guys get traded. Or I just step down… either full rebuild or not… everyone playing like dog Shit. I’d say everyone’s available

  13. LA is bad enough to blow this game, yet.

Find it so hard to imagine the Cavs trading Love for Melo unless the Knicks add a serious sweetener.

  14. this game is still winnable, Rose has to look for his own shot a bit more to stop that.

  15. So if it comes to pass that the Cavs would take Melo and move Love does it have to involve the hated Celtics too?

  16. I knew I’d regret getting League Pass this year.

Also, I’ve been sounding the KP worry alarm for a while now. Is it time to panic yet? Because if it’s not I’d surely like to know when would be the time to panic.

  17. I have lost all my interest in this team.

Not even watching the games anymore. Just want the tank at full speed.

Watching Louisville and Virginia now. Mitchell looking good for a late 1st or early second.

  18. @27
I see Rose more as Captain Derrick von Rose, commanding his Tiger tank on cold steppes of the Russian Front.
    :-)

  19. I have lost all my interest in this team.

Not even watching the games anymore. Just want the tank at full speed.

I’ll keep watching if we blow it up and let the young guys play.

  20. Im just watching whatever good game is going on, and occasionally using the double screen thingy on league pass to check out the Knicks…

there’s Hawks and Jazz, Cavs and Wizards and Clippers and Raptors going on now, no way I’m wasting my time watching this shitshow only.

  21. Did you guys see the rumor that CP3 and LeBron are pushing their front offices to do whatever it takes to land Melo? Including if it means trading Kevin Love?

I told you. Somebody is gonna blink and we will get a 1st round pick and some youth.

  22. We should start sounding the KP alarm bells this time next year if he’s still like this

  23. Hernangomez is fat, slow and can’t play defense.

With Porziagni regressing badly, we’re gonna have to rebuild around Noah!

  24. Porziagni needs to play like a fucking center. Shooting 3’s and long 2’s is a waste of his height. He should be forced to fight for rebounds like a man.

    Andraps Porziagni?

  25. can we please sit KP and Melo so they have absolute 0 chance of getting injured?

everybody knows what’s up, no need to hide the tank in the living room anymore.

  26. If KP was on another team with the exact same numbers I’d definitely be saying he was overrated, etc. but watching the way the Knicks have brought him along makes me sympathetic to the argument that a lot of it is out of his control. I mean, who the fuck acquires Derrick Rose when your primary goal should be the development of a 21 year old huge guy? Of all ridiculous things about that trade, the fact that it would clearly be detrimental to Porzingis might’ve been the worst one of all.

  27. This is some seriously compelling hate-watch material

  28. KP just needs all the bullshit around him to go away.

Melo, Rose, the megalomaniac win-now ideas, the terrible structure of this team.

    Im sure he’ll be fine.

  29. Good players will be good even on bad teams. Love, Garnett, Lebron, Davis, etc., were stars in very bad teams.

If Porziagni never amounts to much, maybe the talent was not there. But there’s time: he is young and could improve a lot. The flashes of good, even great, play are there. Not everything is lost….not yet.

  30. Of all ridiculous things about that trade, the fact that it would clearly be detrimental to Porzingis might’ve been the worst one of all.

But imagine how good a passer Rose would be with so many weapons around him!

  31. @56

not he case with Garnett, he was really just average in his first two years with the Wolves… he became slightly above average in the next couple of years and really started to dominate after that.

he was a high school dude, yeah, but there’s still time for KP to develop.

  32. Larry Nance Jr. was a hell of a find, which is weird cause he has a famous father. Usually those guys get the Austin Rivers treatment.

  33. Larry Nance Jr. was a hell of a find, which is weird cause he has a famous father. Usually those guys get the Austin Rivers treatment.

And he still doesn’t seem to get much lamestream media love and he’s a tremendous dunker. It’s really weird to me.

  34. Melo’s numbers looking great tonight. Can we pull the trigger on something already?

  35. Washington has Jason fucking Smith in their rotation and are 24th in rebounding. They need some KOQ in their life.

  36. What was that? KP actually standing close to the basket and receiving a pass. I’ve never seen that before.

  37. Lou Williams is actually their best player but I’d say Nance is their second best

  38. Clyde: “A lot of times when the Knicks make their runs Melo is on the bench.”

    Duh!

  39. @70

I mean, it’s not like we have many other choices… I still believe that if the Knicks make the right choices from now on, even if KP never becomes a transcendent star, he will be a very good young player to have.

  40. Billy and Holiday with the only positive +/- on the team

  41. A team starting Luke Babbit, Dion fucking Waiters and someone named Rodney McGruder is about to win their 11th straight game. That’s wild.

  42. Is there a chance NO one picks up Rose next year?

I’ve thought about this before. I know it only takes one stupid team and there are many, but it’s truly difficult to imagine anyone wanting this guy. And I’m not even talking about his asking price, at all.

  43. at this rate rose would be lucky to even get a contract.

and I love the Knicks crowd and Clyde / Breen more than this team.

the Wiz might beat the Cavs too

  44. Love is having an awesome game tho… just like that they turn it around.

Lebron is hellbent on not losing this game.

  45. Lebron with 17 assists.
Love with 35 pts so far.
I just can’t see the Cavs trading Love to get Melo.

  46. @86

well, it never really did, the hope was that LeBron would get desperate… at least the Clippers are getting owned by toronto.

  47. Melo could hit a lot of open 3’s with LeBron running things, but there’s really nothing he does that would be an upgrade over Love.

  48. Great loss. I knew we could do it guys! All it took was for us not to believe in one another enough.

  49. Melo could hit a lot of open 3’s with LeBron running things, but there’s really nothing he does that would be an upgrade over Love.

Yeah. Only thing is probably tilt a defense on drives. But even that is negated by loves passing and rebounding

  50. If we tank we have the advantage of having a lot of tradeable assets which could make us the king of the tankers.

  51. LEBRON PUSHING FOR TRADE TO GET CARMELO
Ramona Shelburne explains reports that LeBron James is making a push to trade for Carmelo Anthony, even if that comes at the expense of losing Kevin Love.

  52. Lebron with a crazy twisting 3 point shot with 0.3 seconds remaining. It looks like OT.
He banked it in as he was falling out of bounds.

  53. Great development guys. Now that Toronto is whipping Clipper booty and Cavaliers GM Lebron James is pushing for a Melo deal we have some serious leverage going forward!

  54. when LeBron decides he’s NOT LOSING THE GAME, it’s the best show in the NBA still.

it’s a privilege to watch all-time greatness like this.

  55. that LeBron dude p good huh

(still gonna get crushed in 5 to Dubs)

  56. James fouled out hahahah

Wiz are winning this, Beal is playing some pretty amazing basketball too.

  57. If for some ridiculous reason LeBron ever thought Melo was better than Love, I doubt he still does

  58. I was hoping the Wiz would suck all season and foolishly give up on Otto Porter Jr. After I got rid of Melo I was going to make the Wiz an offer they couldn’t refuse.

  59. If for some ridiculous reason LeBron ever thought Melo was better than Love, I doubt he still does

I don’t think he ever did. I think he just wants to win with his friend. And the drop off from Love 2 Melo isn’t some amount that lebron can’t make up. He probably likes Melo’s “skill set” more for him. But to me it’s just a preference, not that Melo is better

  60. The Cavs front office may draw a line in the sand on this one. Coincidentally, former Bulls GM Jerry Krause recently told Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski that Michael Jordan never went to the Bulls front office and made any kind of similar request to as LeBron’s.

“I will say one thing for Michael Jordan,” Krause said. “(He) never came to me and asked for other players. He never came to me and asked me to draft a player. Never came to me and asked to trade for a player. Never once did that happen. Part of it was he thought he was so darn good he could win without ’em. He understood what we had to do as an organization.”

  61. Love has been pretty useless against the Warriors. Maybe he thinks Melo is a better small ball matchup against them? IDK

Lets just focus on getting whatever we can from from Doc.

  62. FWIW: league source pushes back on report re: LeBron James wanting Carmelo Anthony even if it includes Kevin Love: "totally untrue."— David Aldridge (@daldridgetnt) February 7, 2017

  63. According to person w/knowledge of situation, LeBron NOT pushing Cavs to trade Kevin Love for Carmelo Anthony— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) February 7, 2017

  64. Cavs win. Love 39 pts on 17 shots. 12 rebounds. Not going anywhere. Let’s call Doc up.

  65. I don’t think he ever did. I think he just wants to win with his friend. And the drop off from Love 2 Melo isn’t some amount that lebron can’t make up. He probably likes Melo’s “skill set” more for him. But to me it’s just a preference, not that Melo is better

The difference between 2017 Melo and 2017 Love is unfathomably large.

  66. I can buy Lebron not actually pushing for it, if only because the debunking was so quick and so severe.

  67. I can buy Lebron not actually pushing for it, if only because the debunking was so quick and so severe.

    Its called plausible deniability.

  68. I am beginning to think we shouldn’t trade Melo. Keep him for The Tank since we clearly play better without him. Wait until after this season to trade him when the Clippers become desperate to keep Paul and the Cavs lose to the Warriors while Love has a terrible Finals. Then we collect a major haul.

  69. The difference between 2017 Melo and 2017 Love is unfathomably large.

No it’s not. Love is a spot up shooter for one.

  70. Love is so much better than Melo its not even close. No GM in the planet would trade the former for the latter straight up and the only reason there’s a faint possibility such a trade could happen is because Melo’s BFF runs his team’s FO behind the scenes.

  71. My god what a game

    All timer

And even though GSW is clearly better than Cleveland, I cant bet against Lebron. Another 7 game series in the works.

Or GSW pull a Spurs and dispatch them in 5 I guess.

  72. @127 Love put up 39 points on 17 shots. When’s the last time Melo did that?

  73. No it’s not. Love is a spot up shooter for one.

I don’t know what this is supposed to mean, but Love is better than Melo at every facet of basketball.

  74. Love is so much better than Melo its not even close. No GM in the planet would trade the former for the latter

I never said he’s not better, but love aint no kawhi or anything like that. Did you forget melo just dropped 45 last week. Don’t get carried away by a great love game.

  75. I don’t know what this is supposed to mean, but Love is better than Melo at every facet of basketball.

    lol goodnight

  76. The only way a trade could happen with the Cavs is if we strengthen them elsewhere by throwing in Lee and Jennings. Maybe that would make them consider it.

  77. @134
No, but he doesn’t need to with James and Irving on the team. He fits very well.

Melo fits very well on the Clips.

  78. I guess I shouldn’t question er’s judgment. I mean, if we go undefeated for the rest of the season we’ll be right around his predicted win total!

  79. @136

I was joking man, Love is pretty clearly objectively a better player than Melo, but Melo supporters cling on to the sort of subjective statement I was mocking here.

  80. I mean Melo, Jennings and Lee might be worth considering if I’m the Cavs. Then we move Love to the hated Celtics and have two top five draft picks this year. I might consider tanking if this was the outcome. Ball and Isaac.

  81. I think Melo would look real good next to Lebron and Kyrie. Won’t happen but at least we might see him with CP3.

  82. If you could trade out Kevin Love and get back Melo, Courtney Lee, and Brandon Jennings? I don’t see how you say no. You get a legit back up PG, a legit starting 2 guard, and you slide Melo into Love’s role. Jennings, Lee, and Melo would make the Cavs really good, bro. The Cavs don’t have the salaries to match of course, but that would be awesome for Cleveland.

  83. Don’t get carried away by a great love game.

You said there isn’t a great difference between the two of them I am saying there is. Which one of us is correct according to the metrics?

    WS/48: Love .181, Melo .110
    BPM: Love, 1.4, Melo -0.2
    VORP: Love, 1.1, Melo 0.8
    ORtg: Love 114, Melo 110
    DRtg: Love 105, Melo 112

Its clear one is a superior player to the other.

  84. @141 Wouldn’t Love , Frye and J.R. come fairly close salary wise to Melo, Lee and Jennings?

  85. Love was better than Melo when he was playing with Michael Beasley with Kurt fucking Rambis as head coach. This is not the hill you want to die on my dude.

  86. I would trade Cleveland a combination package of Melo, O’Quinn and Jennings for Love and Frye. Its a doable trade and addresses their needs. If they want to replace the 3 point shooter they lost with Frye we switch Kuz for O’Quinn.

  87. that LeBron dude p good huh (still gonna get crushed in 5 to Dubs)

Not so fast. Kyrie is the Jim Leyritz of the Cavs. Regular season is to Kyrie as Practice was to Iverson. Dude’s put up WS/48 of .209 at age 22 in his first playoffs and .210 at age 23 in the playoffs the following year. He posted .143 and .169 in the regular season in those years.

  88. One also plays with Lebron and is the 3rd option

Your excuses change nothing. Melo’s own team becomes worse with him on it as his negative BPM (Box Plus/Minus) of -0.2 indicates. Yes, that means the Knicks are a better team with him on the bench than they are with him on the floor this season.

  89. I think the Cavs would be scared to let go of Frye considering how well he fits the spacing they look for in the second unit, but O’Quinn would be very valuable to them, specially with Korver on the team to make up for the long range shooting they would miss.

it’s a good trade and I’d certainly make it, but the Cavs will be very difficult to convince anyway.

  90. Clips 2021 pick + Clips 2023 pick + Brice Johnson + Austin Rivers > Nets 2017 pick

    I’m serious.

  91. It’s ok I’m not gonna argue. The stats favor love. But I can’t show evidence with melo as a third option. You guys are right love is better which I said. I just don’t think it’s a big gap. I cant prove it because they aren’t in the same position. I would predict that melo would have better numbers than love with Lebron

  92. @151 Nah. I’d rather have 2 lottery picks this year.

    Plus tons of cap space.

  93. @152

the problem is that Love was a first option and had much better numbers than Melo, and as a 3rd option he still has better numbers than Melo across the board.

if Love was objectively better as a first option, and is still better as a 3rd option, what is the reasoning behind believing Melo would somehow be better as a 3rd option than him?

you might be right, because it’s impossible to really know, but it’s fair to assume your gut feeling is wrong in this case, I’m sorry.

  94. @151

I respectfully disagree. Getting Love, and therefore the Nets pick, almost guarantees us a shot at Lonzo Ball. That’s worth more than the vague possibility of getting a couple of lotto picks that far down the line.

  95. Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Fultz or Ball + Isaac is too amazing… but I’d be really happy with either scenario right now.

  96. @150

We can exchange Kuz or Thomas for O’Quinn and that would rule out the loss of a 3 point specialist for them.

  97. @158

I kinda agree on Kuz, he would fit well with the Cavs in place of Frye, but Thomas is a no no, they have plenty of wings as of now.

I’d still rather give away O’Quinn while he has some value and keep Kuz

  98. Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Fultz or Ball + Isaac is too amazing… but I’d be really happy with either scenario right now.

Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Kat or D’Angelo + Okafor is too amazing…

  99. Lebron said after the game that the report was trash and that the reporter was trash too.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d make Zanzibar’s trade in a second if Love was off the table.

  100. @159

I feel ya. But the point is that we have the option of giving them outside 3 point shooting if they want to replace Frye’s role on the team.

  101. Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Fultz or Ball + Isaac is too amazing… but I’d be really happy with either scenario right now.

Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Embiid or Wiggins + Jabari is too amazing… but I’d be really happy with either scenario right now.

  102. @IanBegley

Kristaps said NYK doesn’t trust each other often enough: ‘It’s kind of everybody for (themselves) a lot of times. Both ends of the floor.’

  103. Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Kat or D’Angelo + Okafor is too amazing…

The problematic logic underlying this post is based on the assumption that all drafts are made equal. If you believe that this is one of the most talent rich drafts in recent times then your comparisons don’t make too much sense.

  104. @164

KP pretty much summed up why, in my opinion, he’s struggling. This offense has regressed to every man for himself instead of one that moves the ball and shares.

  105. The problematic logic underlying this post is based on the assumption that all drafts are made equal. If you believe that this is one of the most talent rich drafts in recent times then your comparisons don’t make too much sense.

Didn’t people think that of the 2015 draft?

  106. Didn’t people think that of the 2015 draft?

I can’t speak to that but its true that this draft produced better rookie talent than we’ve seen in some drafts. If you analogy really wanted to work it would KAT + KP or Russell. Wouldn’t that be special?

  107. Given the choice of Nets 2017 or this Clippers package I would still choose the Nets pick, the prospect of Embiid or Wiggins + Jabari is too amazing… but I’d be really happy with either scenario right now.

I mean can’t we just play that game with the future picks too.

The point is that this draft is *actually* far stronger than those two other drafts you picked from. Each player in the top 6-8 with the exception of Taytum is *elite* in the NCAA, and there’s gonna be solid role players all the way into the 2nd round. Savvy watchers of the NCAA could tell that Okafor and Wiggins were fools gold.

And Jabari is actually having a solid, breakout season. D’Angelo is a question mark.

  108. Bro the 2014 draft was looked at as one without a true franchise player from pretty early on. Look at the college stats on Wiggins/Parker in comparison with guys like Ball, Fultz, and Isaac. Guys like Julius Randle and Marcus Smart, who are good NBA basketball players, wouldn’t crack the top 10 picks this year.

  109. but Zanzibar, how does that not hold true about the 2021 or 2023 Clippers picks then?

the draft is always uncertain… for all we know the Clippers might have rebuilt their roster till then and these picks would be late first rounders.

Id rather take a chance on a draft where the potential seems clearly amazing than gambling that 4 to 6 years from now we’ll get a star.

  110. this draft produced better rookie talent than we’ve seen in some drafts. If you analogy really wanted to work it would KAT + KP or Russell. Wouldn’t that be special?

Not in the top 5. The odds are we wouldn’t be picking #1 even if we had the Nets pick so this year’s KAT is out. The consensus #1 pick is usually a good bet. If I could be sure we’d be picking first, then it would be a different matter.

  111. I think both options are acceptable results for a Melo trade but one involves my team getting Lonzo Ball and Jonathan Isaac–who look as polished and as laden with potential as any prospect this side of KAT over the last few years–rather than high lottery mystery player #1 and possibly high lottery or mid first mystery player #2. So I’d prefer the one where we get a Nets pick.

  112. Not in the top 5. The odds are we wouldn’t be picking #1 even if we had the Nets pick so this year’s KAT is out. The consensus #1 pick is usually a good bet. If I could be sure we’d be picking first, then it would be a different matter.

The Nets pick gives us the best chance to pick #1 overall. Hell, even the analogy is busted since there’s no consensus #1. Its a tossup between Ball/Fultz. I would take 2 picks in the top 5 and we could get what we want with Ball + Isaac.

  113. even if Ball and Isaac both surge in scout evaluations and Fultz drops, I would still take my chances with Fultz + Jackson for example, which is very feasible with like the 2nd + 5th picks.

  114. A shot at a combination of Willy, KP, Isaac, and Ball coming of age together is just too tantalizing to pass up. That core would basically ensure Phil’s job is effectively done. He will have left us far richer than we ever could have imagined with the most talented young group in the NBA.

  115. the draft is always uncertain… for all we know the Clippers might have rebuilt their roster till then and these picks would be late first rounders.

Id rather take a chance on a draft where the potential seems clearly amazing than gambling that 4 to 6 years from now we’ll get a star.

It’s risk versus reward. If we pick a bust – and that’s a real possibility – we got nothing. The Clips picks plus Brice gives you 3 bites at the apple of landing (or trading for) a starter level player. So it’s much less risk; however it’s true a top 6 pick would probably have greater potential but it’s not clear we wouldn’t have a top pick in one or both of those drafts. So to me the risk is a lot lower than the potential reward lost. Take out one of the Clip picks and then I definitely want the Nets 2017 pick.

  116. I think you pretty much can’t go wrong with the first 6 picks in the draft so long as you avoid Monk/Taytum/Markkanen (I think Markkanen will be good but he’s absolutely not what we need)

  117. and people forget, even non-star high lottery picks still maintain some trade value as long as they are not complete busts.

guys like Kanter brought back a first round pick, Oladipo brought Ibaka, even Waiters was traded for JR Shumpert and a 1st.

also it’s kinda funny that OKC was involved in all those deals, but still.

  118. Pretty much:

“He is still a high-caliber scorer when used properly and when they run plays for him,” said one NBA scout, who felt the Knicks played a faster pace last season, which was more beneficial to Porzingis’ game. “They’re at a slower pace. He was getting 3s as a trailer. How many do you see him get now?”

“Just not feeling involved, not being in rhythm,” Porzingis said of his first three quarters, in which he shot 2-of-9, scored five points with five rebounds and was a ghastly minus-27 on the floor — yup, that was the worst.

“I have to do a better job of picking the spots where I want to attack and picking the right moment when I need to attack,” Porzingis said. “Making shots. But I think at the end I was just more involved. A lot of times the ball was going through me and we were kind of playing a little more movement. So I think that’s the type of game I’m better at … a faster paced, moving the ball more around.”

  119. Everyone on the Cavs said tonight that the rumored Love trade is garbage. I believe them.

  120. I’ll give the Wizards this much. They were always going to have to max out Porter, as well, but at least it looks like they’ll be doing it with an actual overall good team.

  121. We’re really not far away from being a bottom 5 team. But its going to take a combination of the Wolves, Kings, Magic and Sixers improving to sink further down to that range.

  122. Clippers could slip down to 6th in the Western Conference if the Grizzlies maintain their lead against the Spurs.

  123. I think it’ll just take some committed losing. Which it looks like they’re well on the way to committing to.

  124. @186

If we’re committed to losing then Melo should stay. The team’s been a net negative when he’s been on the court.

  125. Sacramento is fucking horrible. Can we trade one of our good players to them so they can win a few more games?

  126. @188 The Clippers are something like 29-4 with CP3 playing and 4-11 without him. Now that’s a guy who’s worth max money.

  127. You know who’s really underrated?

Marcin Gortat. Consistently one of the best centers in the league, but so, so quietly. Really appreciate his simple but effective game.

  128. My goodness, we have a string of games coming up where we should be shellacked.

  129. Sacramento is fucking horrible. Can we trade one of our good players to them so they can win a few more games?

Who are these “good players” you speak of?

  130. So, how did Wilty Chambergomez do last night?

Kid is too slow, fat, unskilled and can’t play defense. Ceiling is career backup.

  131. I smell a coach firing coming up. Doesn’t seem like the team is responding to the coach any more.

  132. I mean, you can call him whatever you want but calling him unskilled is like calling Frank Isola a respectable journalist.

  133. I don’t think that’s the case. If anything, I would give Horny carte blanche for the rest of the season. The real problem is that these guys lack a veteran leader who can actually do some things on the court (Noah is the closest one but is pretty much useless on offense, unless you consider those offensive putbacks).

  134. @195

He was +7 for the game – which was by far the best +/- on our team for the game.
