Anyone want to make big sweeping pronouncements about teams/players now that we’ve had two nights of games?
It’s not even close.
If you want the math, I’ll provide it but I don’t want to kick off a day debunking more BS from Bob.
I will say I find the idea that the last player you sign is responsible for 100% your team’s luxury tax to be ridiculous. The tax is on the whole roster, not the one player who puts you over the line.
But if you really want to commit to that “logic”, then all we had to do was sign Mitch before Jose, Landry, and Mo, and voila! Now Mitch cost $0 in taxes.
