if you are not watching gaming vids, what are you doing with your life…
some DayZ clips started showing up on my feed, so today decided instead of going it alone on a dead server (server fits 60, so dead would be less than 10 spread out over the map) i’d try a busier one with more folks…
first several times i played loaded on to some pretty popular servers and it was crazy, couldn’t go a few hundred feet before being attacked by another player…just senseless gameplay…
it’s mostly a survival game aginst the elements and your toon’s health…with zombies and other players running around you…
but, with my new daring attitude from watching other humans team up with strangers, logged on today and met a pair of players who’ve been gaming together for years, they also worked together…
too funny to listen to them dog each other most of the journey…
also, funny how most everyone downplay their game experience when chatting together…it’s like just in case you see me do some dumb and/or crazy – it’s because I don’t a lot…
it’s an interesting fame mechanic to watch your health slowing slip away from injury/cold/no food/no water/illness…your character is left frankly searching for whatever will stop them from seeing yhe words: you are dead on their screen…
only played for a short bit with them, got a little overloaded with all the friendliness quickly…anyways…
gotta look it up to find it – but, supposedly there is a server with smart ai npcs (like roaming bandits)…that’s what’s up right there…

Can you believe that it’s only 24 days until training camp opens. It’s crazy that we are still at 13 players and zero 2-ways or exhibit-type camp deals with 3 1/2 weeks to go.

Easy big fella. Up until 2011-12 the rosters were limited to 12. Not 1848, 2011! I’m pretty confident he isn’t playing the regular season with OG as the 3rd center.
I’m purely guessing he’s trying to wrap up KAT/Hart?Deuce related stuff so he knows the entirety of the paramters he is working under moving forward.
There is zero advantage signing some AAAA player to make the fans fee better on Labor Day. Let the man do his job in peace. Leon has work to do it and I am quite sure he is aware. With respect to Robert Frost:

I think Rose knows the advantage of timing. He’s at least waiting to see what happens when other teams have to make decisions for training camp.
saw a vid with jalen today…he was on a panel call with the road trippin’ show…
at one point kendrick perkins asked him how he felt about philly leveling up their roster…
like a lot of today’s nba stars do, he didn’t answer right away…didn’t talk about philly at all…
mentioned that he took off a little less than 3 weeks, got surgery and started prepping for the next season…
so glad he’s on our side…
My understanding is that any two-way player can. be waived and another signed immediately with no cap or roster consequences. Therefore, there seems to be no strategic advantage I can think of to having all three two-way spots open. Every other team in the NBA has at least 2 players on two-ways. It seems very weird for any team to not have a single one under contract this close to the opening of training camp.

some girl i had known wrote that poem in either my junior high, or high school yearbook…can’t remember, but the thing has stuck with me – like learning all about CBS (corns, beans, squash) in school being key to the indigenous folks of new york…couldn’t forget it if i tried…
truth is, much like with the whole english language, way too many rules and structuring stuff for me to focus and follow through with in regards to poetry…too easy to lose the plot…
hmmmm, was hoping perhaps mister milo simply did a copy/paste of the first poem in to some ai bot and got that silky smooth reply back…
otherwise, holy cow…although, as owen says – maybe there is some hope for humanity against HAL…

I think your understanding is correct, but I can think of a couple of reasons why the Knicks haven’t selected anyone. One, they may not know what sort of contract they will give yet for domestic players. For Nickel, they could give him a two way or a regular second round minimum depending on how the rest of the roster works out. My guess is they already have an understanding with Nickel that they will do one or the other. They probably want to leave a free two way slot for that. Diawara was in this position his first year and I seem to recall they did the contract at the last minute. Two, they may have told some players they will compete for this sort of job in training camp and they will do contracts then. Leaving the contracts open seems fairer in this case. Finally, maybe they don’t want to lead players on. It’s bad for a player to be signed over the summer but then be dropped just before the season starts because it prevents him from looking for other opportunities. That would be the front office being straight with players, which isn’t a bad thing.
