KAT is out. No idea how much Mitch can play. And OG is coming back from an injury, so I doubt they wanna play him too much as a small ball center. Yabu or Huk REALLY need to step up today.
Obviously it’s a big blow but I am fine with it, don’t want to mess with a sore calf, especially with the all-important IST game coming up next. Also would like to see some of the scrubs and kids step up in a big game.
This is a good team for Huk to get reps, and probably Diawara as well. I’m looking for Huk to set legal screens and more generally to stay out of foul trouble. Also looking for Mitch to give us 20+ minutes and to be impactful on the defensive end, as he has looked pretty wooden out there lately.
Might we have a Trey Jemison sighting? Or Pacome? Or Tosan?
If the Knicks can’t get up for this game (no pun intended with early start) I don’t know what to say. The Magic have handled us twice already, and Carter and Suggs are punks.

Owen, when I logged in I had to click the box and go through two frames of squinting to see if that’s a staircase or not, then after I wrote a post I had to check the box again to identify all the motorcycles (which I failed bc that’s clearly a Vespa and not a motorcycle), so then I had to identify all the bicycles but I missed the one that was hiding behind the fire hydrant, so then I had to identify all the fire hydrants but they blurred all the images to make it harder. Then after having an existential crisis wondering if I might actually be a robot, I got the one with the crosswalks that I passed, but by then my verification had expired and I lost the post. And whenever I come back and hit refresh I seem to be automatically logged out so I have to do it again.

Definitely a good game for Huk but I think it just means he’s useful against a team like Orlando.

Huk’s best game as a pro. The Mitch/Huk combo was primo today. Huk’s foul shooting form was schockingly competent
Huk looked every bit the serviceable NBA backup 5. He might have even overpassed a bit, a couple of times I thought he had good position inside and kicked it out.
What stood out to me was his motor and straight line speed. He gets up and down the court very well. He was also much better at not moving when he set screens than he was in the Utah game.
He also swished 4 FTs, which was a refreshing sight compared with Mitch’s hooplexia. But Mitch’s offensive rebounding was ridiculous. Mitch also blocked a 3 (like he did back when he was a yoot) which should have led to a fast break, but every Knick in the paint was looking up at the rim expecting a rebound and it comically fell into the Magic’s laps for an easy hoop.
Yabu played sort of OK but he was a big part of the Magic’s fake comeback in the last couple of minutes, so he might have hurt his cause and helped Huk’s.
best we’ve looked at the five all season…if i was some other team’s fan and saw him play – I would be very ariel hukporti curious…very…

I like that Bane and OG were laughing and joking about that play afterwards and hugging and laughing after the game, seems like they like and respect each other. Bane seems like more of a hothead than a bad guy, but he was definitely a bad guy in this game.

Good win although I didn’t like the way they flatlined at the end.
I watched the first quarter and I kind of felt our defense looked worse without KAT which was strange.

Everyone but Clarkson played really well. Good Clarkson is useful, but Bad Clarkson can lose you a game. Not a fan.
Clicking the box doesn’t seem too much of an issue if you don’t have to find the crosswalks everytime.

Deuce’s x-ray was negative but he’s getting an MRI tomorrow…ankle is better news than knee, at least.

I didn’t get to watch this one, but it seems like this was maybe Huk’s best game as a pro? Six points, seven boards, three blocks in 22 minutes?
Owen, when I logged in I had to click the box and go through two frames of squinting to see if that’s a staircase or not, then after I wrote a post I had to check the box again to identify all the motorcycles (which I failed bc that’s clearly a Vespa and not a motorcycle), so then I had to identify all the bicycles but I missed the one that was hiding behind the fire hydrant, so then I had to identify all the fire hydrants but they blurred all the images to make it harder. Then after having an existential crisis wondering if I might actually be a robot, I got the one with the crosswalks that I passed, but by then my verification had expired and I lost the post. And whenever I come back and hit refresh I seem to be automatically logged out so I have to do it again.
Definitely a good game for Huk but I think it just means he’s useful against a team like Orlando.
Brown in his presser said something interesting about why Huk doesn’t get a lot of minutes “he’s very fast, on both ends, and when he’s in I want him to use that speed. He’s not going to be in for a long time bc I want him to go all out when he’s in”.
Huk’s best game as a pro. The Mitch/Huk combo was primo today. Huk’s foul shooting form was schockingly competent
Huk looked every bit the serviceable NBA backup 5. He might have even overpassed a bit, a couple of times I thought he had good position inside and kicked it out.
What stood out to me was his motor and straight line speed. He gets up and down the court very well. He was also much better at not moving when he set screens than he was in the Utah game.
He also swished 4 FTs, which was a refreshing sight compared with Mitch’s hooplexia. But Mitch’s offensive rebounding was ridiculous. Mitch also blocked a 3 (like he did back when he was a yoot) which should have led to a fast break, but every Knick in the paint was looking up at the rim expecting a rebound and it comically fell into the Magic’s laps for an easy hoop.
Yabu played sort of OK but he was a big part of the Magic’s fake comeback in the last couple of minutes, so he might have hurt his cause and helped Huk’s.
best we’ve looked at the five all season…if i was some other team’s fan and saw him play – I would be very ariel hukporti curious…very…
hard for me to believe jordan clarkson is shooting 30% from beyond the arc, can’t remember the last one that went in…he has as many turnovers a game as assists…he really can’t shoot at all…

Their playing style is reckless and they drag you to it by challenging your manhood. If instead of OG that was Mitch, Yabu, Huk, Hart…etc…, there would have been multiple suspensions to both teams handed out by Adam tomorrow afternoon.
