2026-27 Game Thread: Knicks vs. Nets – Hard Times In New York Town

The 2-4 Knicks host the 1-5 Nets in a battle of two struggling New York teams, but, well, come on, obviously the Knicks are in an entirely different league than the Nets. The Nets suck, while the Knicks will be right in the mix for the NBA Finals.

They just need to get their shit together in the regular season…well, I guess they don’t NEED to, as they’re already in the top 10 in the Eastern Conference. Just GET to the playoffs, and they’ll kick the other teams’ asses.

Let’s go, Knicks!

So are we happy that Bridges is being much more active, or do we wish it would stop?

I was hoping for a Bridges revenge game, but the last few plays make it clear that’s not happening.

Clyde’s been doing this my whole life and still finds new ways to crack me up. Saying Atlanta hadn’t seen anything like game 6 since Sherman’s march is his best of the season so far.

i think it’s more that he’s turned himself into an infinity machine which generates warmth and laughs for almost literally anything he reads out from the library of babel. 8.3 billion other people try that joke and it’s cringe.

He recycled that one — we used it a lot when the Yankees won three straight in Atlanta in the ’96 series.

Also probably the only guy who could say “Wendell Carter… he’s got good taste… he’s dating Angel Reese!” and get away with it.

Wow, that KAT layup was straight out of the “Just dunk it, OG” world.

And looked like he was trying to prove he can score against Randle.

I’m not 100% sure we’re champions if Malcolm Brogdon doesn’t retire. We should send him a ring for that.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but this team is built for the playoffs and not the regular season. You’ll have to endure a lot of “meh games” to then be able to watch the beautiful basketball in the playoffs.

I’m having a rough night my internet is down and its been pouring rain for the past 4 hrs so trying to watch the game on my phone hasn’t been a pleasant experience 😂
