On the one hand, it’s publication day for my Rod Serling book — maybe the thing I’m proudest to have written in my whole career.

On the other, I’m spending the day at Frank’s workplace, and a hospital is… not the most fun or glamorous way to celebrate publishing a book.

Take the good with the bad.

Congrats Alan and get well. Looking forward to reading it. Though a bit disappointed to note that you are not proudest of your KB posts…

Congrats on the book, Alan, i hope it’s a success. 😉
I wish you a speedy recovery, and it’s nice to know that you’re in good hands.

The biggest change for me coming out of summer league and pre season is that at the end of last season I thought Diawara was a “must sign” with significant upside to wondering whether he’s going to keep his rotation spot.

I still see the same flashes that made me high on him last year, but it’s not translating into production. I’m starting to think that “maybe” we saw just a short term aberration of good shooting from 3 last year that enhanced the overall picture.

Important to remember that progress with young players isn’t always linear and players can take small steps back before leaping forward. And summer league and preseason are not always the best indicators of how a player is progressing.

One thing though. Besides shaking off post championship malaise, the team really needs to be prepared for the fact that every team is going to get up to play them this year.
