2025-26 Game Thread: Knicks @ “Nets”

I’ll give Bill Simmons this much. He was complaining about the possibility of NBA expansion, not because there isn’t enough good players out there, but because if there are nine teams actively trying to lose, it just means that you’ll have eleven teams trying to lose in two years.

So… yeah, hard to argue with that.

In any event, enjoy the Nets actively trying to lose this game!

Let’s go, Knicks!

57 is still in play, and that’s okay!

I don’t know if Traore is any good at basketball, but you can open a can of tuna fish with his cheekbones.

Question answered! Bridges is cleared for contact, after all! 😂😂😂

Diawara in, which is nice. Also, looks like first team to 50 wins.

This might be the most pathetic 1st quarter Knicks have played all season and that’s saying something.

For now, I’m only following the game here. How are we looking?

Edit: And after sending the comment, I see that we’re not looking good. 😛

NCAA quality game…

I think St. John’s would be up by 20 on us right now😂

Thank God Yankees start on Wednesday cause not sure I can watch another Knicks regular season game. They’ll win most of their remaining games mind you but the entertainment value is absolutely zero.

82 game season to figure out the start of the game issues*

* playoffs won’t fix them

Not making excuses but I think it’s really hard to get up for these games against tanking teams. We’ll win eventually and we’ll all call it a bad win

But granted it is really hard to watch.

How can we be down to these guys? I guess if Siena can do it for a while why can’t they.

EASILY the worst half of the year so far. Eight turnovers, six shots made.

Shooting 25% and the same from three.

Only thing saving us, besides it being the Nets, is we’re dominating the boards and we have 6 steals (they’re almost as bad as we’ve been).

The Knicks have 8 turnovers and are shooting 25% from the field and are only down by 5. Which just shows how badly both teams are playing.

Thank god, no more basketball, it’s mixed martial arts from here on in.
