Reports are all saying Giannis will pick his team, and the Bucks will try to work it out for him. They aren’t going to auction him off, which could be great for the Knicks.

Knicks seem to play with an unearned arrogance that says ” Don’t worry we got this”.

Having flashbacks to Kevin Durant’s non contact injury when he was on the verge of becoming a Knick.

That’s either a season-ending injury or Giannis & the Bucks agreed that he would fall down on purpose and pretend to be hurt so he could be sidelined til this gets sorted.

It’s more like the precursor to an Achilles tear. Both Durant and Haliburton tore their Achilles coming back early from calf strain injuries.

Anyone who trades for Giannis now is playing with fire.

Only when the injured muscle is overloaded before it is completely healed.

Hali and Durant had catastrophic injuries because they made a conscious decision to try to play deep in the playoffs prior to complete healing of a previous injury. Calf strains happen all the time and heal without further adverse consequences.

LaMelo seemingly has no competitive fire whatsoever. He’s one of these guys where I have difficulty imagining how a team talks themselves into wanting him on the roster, much less handing him a max contract.

I get that the Spurs aren’t bad without Wemby, but the Magic were 8 point favorites. They’re supposed to win that game.

Jericho Sims going 7-7 with 14 rebounds off the bench is maybe more surprising than the Bucks coming back from an 18 point deficit without Giannis.
