I am 110% in on Huk playing a big role this season (and doing well at it, which was not part of the prediction, but maybe it’s baked in). Partly because Mitch, but partly because I think he’s capable.
I am agnostic but angry about the idea of Towns shooting fewer threes than ever. It’s certainly possible, but if so then Brown is a loser and has failed to maximize his lineup. That’s on him to figure it out.
And if they trade Deuce I am beating Rose to death with Fournier’s corpse.

Once the roster is settled, we should do a prediction thread for things like wins, playoff outcome, player minutes, and some pointed questions like how many 3pt attempts will the team average, where will they rank in offense and defense.

I’ll be in Saratoga for a lovely fall weekend so will probably miss the game unless it’s on at The Bunker. Will probably wind up at 9 Maple at some point.
Continuing my pre-trip posting binge, here are some too early predictions:
-Mitch will start and play in over 60 games
-Deuce will average 25+ mpg and be in the running for both MIP and 6MoY
-Huk will play 800+ minutes
-Kolek will not be traded and will play 500+ minutes
-Josh Hart will become disgruntled at some point
-KAT will have his most complete season a a pro and will be a plus defender
-Clarkson will win over his KB doubters
I would like to see Brown mess around with a complete second unit of Huk-Yabu-Hart-Clarkson-Deuce lineup get some run in second quarters, with starters coming back in based on whoever is playing the least effectively. Then spot in Kolek and Dadiet/Diawara for Clarkson and Yabu to get them some experience.
