2014-15 Game Thread: Knicks vs. Heat

The Knicks have just had some awesome luck these last few games, huh? First, Russell Westbrook returns from an injury just in time to face the Knicks and now Dwyane Wade is also choosing now to return to from an injury. Thanks a lot, guys!

I’m leaving for a show at the Gramercy right now (5:00 PM), so I don’t know if Melo is playing. He’s currently listed as “questionable” (upgraded from doubtful), so let’s hope that the Knicks get him back! They sure need him.

Let’s go Knicks!

  1. Not coincidence that Westbrook and Wade are coming back against the knicks. Players like their first game to be against an easy team. . . and it doesn’t get much easier than this.

  2. Now it’s Wade’s turn for a rehab stint in the minors…

(…frankly, I’m surprised Ray Felton wasn’t activated while the Knicks were in Dallas last week)

  3. It’s pretty obvious this team blows, so let’s do this right and lose 60 games. No sense just being bad, let’s be really, really bad!

  4. Good, they benched JR. Now leave him there.

If they benched him all season with DNP-CD’s, he’d opt out for sure. Wishfull thinking

  5. I think Amare could be really valuable to the right team. He is still an excellent scorer and would be great deep in the playoffs for 20 mins a night. He’s a great locker room guy. He has deep playoff experience. Who could make the $ work that is a contender?

  6. Forget the game-winner for Wade, he will score enough before then to ensure he wont need a game-winner.

  7. I think we need to trade Shump while there’s still a few GM’s out there who think he’s good

  8. Fish is losing patience with all 3 “shooting” guards. He has a quick hook for all of them and is playing alot more 2 pg’s lineups now.

  9. I heard of SGs shooting a 1000 jumpers a day in the summer but Shump is the only SG that needs to do a thousand layups a day.

  10. Godawful.

On the plus side, I have marked Tuesday night down to watch the Carmelo Anthony Free Agency Tour documentary.

    SO EXCITED for that….

Got to love when vertical media integration bears fruit….

  11. I was watching on ESPN gamecast. The 4th quarter was missed 3s and missed layups for 15 minutes. Was it as bad as it looked?

  12. @25
Well when’s the last time we traded away a first round pick? We should have a clock: No stupid trades in the last __ days.
