Kadeem Allen is probably one of the better defenders on the team. It’s sad. We have a few decent defenders, but they are young, don’t play together very often, and the rest of the team is so horrible it doesn’t matter.

I mean, is it that hard to create a culture of “share the ball?” Does Knox have to shoot every time? Does Timmy have to jack up ill-considered off-balance shots? Both of them have contracts going another few years – why can’t they be convinced, at the very least, to pass the ball some of the time??

It seems to be difficult to teach some players that player and ball movement create better shots for all which in turn mean more points per possession for the team. They see it through their own eyes instead. Besides, this is exactly what I’ve been complaining about for weeks. The MANAGEMENT has been focusing on players with the skillset to create for THEMSELVES off the dribble at the expense of defense and play making. You need guys that can create for themselves when the possession breaks down, but it’s supposed to be a last option, not a first option.
