  1. Channing Frye on his rookie year:

What was it like coming into the league not knowing what it was like and being thrown into that situation?

You know what, I had guys like Antonio Davis and Malik Rose telling me, “This is not what the NBA is like.” Guys not practicing ‘cause they didn’t want to. Guys just literally come to practice, practice for an hour and then everybody leave and not say a word. I think you had a lot of personalities and guys who were great on individual levels. It just wasn’t, they just weren’t a team. We weren’t a team.

  2. What to do…what to do…?

I can either watch a game with 1 good team as Tyson Chandler breaks the MSG rebounding record (28) set by none other than Tyson Chandler, while simultaneously failing to help the Dallas offense by only scoring 12 points on 6 FG’s (none of which he’ll generate on his own, which is so important because being able to go 1-16 on game winning shots is a clear money-making skill).

    OR

I can watch two title contending, elite Western teams on ESPN.

    Decisions, decisions…

  3. Thankfully, Ray Felton won’t be playing tonight. Ray having a great game against our terrible defense would be hard to stomach.

Speaking of stomachs, Ray Felton is fat.

  4. Wasn’t Larry Brown coaching that team Frye is talking about? The same coach that elicited this infamous monologue about practice:

“I know it’s important, I do. I honestly do… But we’re talking about practice man. What are we talking about? Practice? We’re talking about practice, man. We’re talking about practice. We’re talking about practice. We ain’t talking about the game. We’re talking about practice, man. When you come to the arena, and you see me play, you see me play don’t you? You’ve seen me give everything I’ve got, right? But we’re talking about practice right now…” (And so on…)

  5. Yeah. That was right before Jimmy gave him 16 million bucks to go away so Isiah Thomas could hire Isiah Thomas.

What I’m saying is now is not a great time to be a Knicks fan, but it is (seriously) not as bad as it used to be.

Also, this new D’Angelo album is great.

  6. I guess it’s raining inside the garden. . .raining Mavericks jumpers!

    (boom)

This team is so fucking boring. We need Bargs back.
