    Pau Gasol had 25 points and 12 rebounds as Spain cruised past Lithuania, 80-63, in Lille, France, to regain the European basketball championship title. Gasol was named the tournament’s most valuable player.

    1. Actual Knicks news! Albeit more Westchester Knicks than NY Knicks, I’m assuming:

      @ShamsCharania Knicks have agreed on deal to sign forward DaJuan Summers, source tells Yahoo. Agent Brian Elfus of Impact confirms Summers, Mitchell deals.

      Summers hasn’t played in the NBA in a few years, and he’s yet another forward on a team that arguably has too many of them (including Darion Atkins), so I’m not expecting much. On the other hand, the team’s foreign scouts have had a good track record on these kind of marginal pick-ups the last few years, so they must have seen something in the guy to make him worth the bother on a roster that seemingly has no use for him.
