Kevin McElroy WSJU Interview

Hope you’re enjoying our new look; KnickerBlogger godfather Mike Kurylo was hard at work and continues to excel at all the parts of bringing you this blog that are less than fun in their own right.  All accolades for whatever additional enjoyment the smoother design is able to bring you during the season should head his way.

Meanwhile, David Dressekie from 590 WSJU (St. John’s Campus Station) was kind enough to invite me on Monday afternoon’s show to talk about the Knicks’ offseason.  If you’re interested, you can listen here:

  1. Great interview! Honestly, you sounded like a pro which, hey, I guess you are. Really enjoyed it.

I might have shaved 20 seconds off one or two of your comments just to keep the conversation a little more back and forth but overall that was really really excellent.

  2. Is it confirmed that JR’s suspension starts 1st game because he played last pre season game?

  3. On one hand, we get Chicago on the back end of back to back. On the other hand, you know Thibideau is going to have them working 10x as hard on defense after tonight’s performance.

  4. There is some seriously ragged looking play in this Lakers-Clippers game. Clips have totally unraveled in the fourth and are making Xavier Henry, Jordan Hill and Jordan Farmar look like star players.

Overall the game has a preseason feel to it.

  5. The Lakers have the electricity of Linsanity right now, i love to see D’Antoni get the most from his scrubs..Kobe didn’t look stoked for some reason…..hmm

  6. Mike:
Serious props for the redesign. There’s a lot to be said for some white space and a decent font. Of course, I’m quite certain there was a hell of a lot more involved.
But I have to say I love the look.

  7. Redesign looks really nice and I can see that you have been very responsive to feedback already. I will second the need for vertical centering of the comments within the comment box or a space between the commenter/date/etc. and the actual comment. Also, I would like to see a larger font for the comment number (perhaps as large as the avatar). Keep up the good work.

He should just accept his destiny as the coach of a mid-major college and enjoy the occasional March run to the sweet 16 and beyond.
