Game Thread: New York Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors

The Raptors are playing without Kawhi tonight.

This would not be a good one to steal, so hopefully the Raptors pull it off.

Let’s go, Kadeem and Mitch!

The most interesting thing about this game may be Clyde elaborating on his comments regarding Lebron

The Knicks’ ability to turn a basketball game into a farce is pretty damn impressive.

Mitch with 3 fouls in 4 minutes… Damn. Was wondering why I turned the game on and wasn’t seeing him.

3 in a quarter is certainly a lot so I’m not necessarily talking about tonight specifically, but from a player development perspective wouldn’t it make some sense to put Mitch in a position where he absolutely cannot foul if he wants to legally stay in the game?

I just see absolutely no use in incessantly sitting him due to foul trouble. For what exactly is he being preserved?

3 in 5 minutes is a pretty quick rate, and that last call was a real ticky-tacky call. I don’t understand why he gets pulled at the end of games with 5 fouls, but that kind of situation I get it. Fouls that quick lead to refs looking to call more.

After Mitch, is there anyone on the Knicks roster you would take ahead of any Toronto player? Maybe DAJ?

So much for worrying about a surprise win: 36-pt L without facing Leonard.
Oh, and the Cavs won too!

If Pop leads this group of players the Spurs has to home court advantage in the West, he should be inducted in the hall of fame right away, before he even retires.

No way we don’t deserve Zion Williamson after that bullshit. We’re really trying our hardest to win and suck like no other.

Meanwhile:

Fewest days with a losing record in the last 22 years:

SPURS – 65 days
Rockets – 1,007
Mavericks – 1,025
Trail Blazers – 1,044
Jazz – 1,101

Since my DVR seems to be recording MSG OT again, which doesn’t have Clyde, what did he say?

@14 I don’t know if I’m enough of a masochist to ask how many days with a losing streak the Knicks have over the last 22 years. I wonder if it might be more than my youngest brother has been alive.

Robinson with per 36 numbers of 12.5 rebs, 7.5 blks, and 15 fouls! Thank god we fixed the fouling.

Depends on how we count the offseason.

Elfrid “Mr. Triple Double” Payton did it again

Maybe the hair was holding him back. A couple more games like this and we’ll wind up maxing him this summer.

This gist of it was he is an heir to a legacy as the face of the NBA passed down from Russell, to Wilt, holds himself out as the self proclaimed “King:, considers himself a social conscience of sorts and even has schools and needs to, at least, in public “set an example” and interact with the team. He put it a lot better than this or at least form the experience of someone who has walked, to some extent, in those shoes.

on edit I add, what is up with your DVR. I have Xfinity in northern NJ and only got the MSG+ or whatever it was feed you described only on Sunday (and I get YES when they play the Nets).

Thanks very much. I don’t know what is up with my DVR, I’m still trying to figure it out.
