Although, now that I think about it from a business perspective (as in, winning comes second, after making lots of money), it might actually be worth it. The Lakers won’t make the playoffs and will be at the bottom of the league all year, but Kobe is such a draw (for reasons I don’t fully understand) they’ll still be basically printing money.

The tank is on. It was proven last year consistenly burning melo out in games dimisihes his shooting percentage late in games. Benching Timmy to play a 3 point guard lineup at crunch time also lends to the theory.
