  1. Jason Smith is awesome.

Hey he got his own rebound off that horrible 18 foot jump shot. That’s better than that other Smith ever does.

Really? Looked like he was about to bobble it out of his hands out of bounds before a loose-ball foul was called.

  3. BREAKING NEWS:

KOBE BRYANT PASSES MICHAEL JORDAN FOR 3rd ALL-TIME ON SCORING LIST!

Totally worth the 2 year/50 million dollar contract.

  4. Although, now that I think about it from a business perspective (as in, winning comes second, after making lots of money), it might actually be worth it. The Lakers won’t make the playoffs and will be at the bottom of the league all year, but Kobe is such a draw (for reasons I don’t fully understand) they’ll still be basically printing money.

“Come watch the Lakers lose, but Kobe will pass some arbitrary milestone! You don’t want to miss it!”

  5. Why are the Raptor leading the division?

Because they play in the same division as the Knicks, Nets, and 76’ers.

  6. Pretty bad basketball on both sides but the crowd loves it because the Knicks are still in this.

  7. Best case outcome right here. Good, tough game lost in OT. Competitive, mostly entertaining, and stayed in the race for a top pick. Good job boys.

  8. Guess they’re not gonna rest Melo’s knee, they’re just gonna send him out there for 44 minutes and hope everything works out. Seems like a solid plan.

  9. Great game, great result. Only thing I still don’t get (unless they’re really trying to trade Melo): why, why, why they’re playing him so much?

  10. Wow, the owner of the Kings is a real moron.

Yes, that makes absolutely no sense. Especially since the one making blunders (that the coach tried to turn into something valuable, and arguably succeeded at that) is Pete D’Alessandro. Seriously, does anyone think that Collison’s actual production will keep up? Or what about the glaring hole at the 2-guard?

Sacramento: the next home of Joe Johnson.

The tank is on. It was proven last year consistenly burning melo out in games dimisihes his shooting percentage late in games. Benching Timmy to play a 3 point guard lineup at crunch time also lends to the theory.

    -Shump and JR for Lance.

    Would be nice

Ok, but then again, if that’s the plan: don’t play Melo altogether!
