Circe in particular is fantastic. Not sure who that actress was but she rocked.

I thought “Oppenheimer” sucked, so the bar is low – give me visuals worth the 70mm and I’ll be OK. But too bad he wasn’t much interested in the actual source material.

There’s a price one pays for knowing too much. I actually have a similar problem/different focus, most often with mediocre action/comedy movies, who can’t stop sticking sulphur-crested cockatoos in the Amazon jungle or European green lizards in deepest darkest Africa.

To say OG, KAT and Shammet didn’t have bizzarely outlying performances in the playoffs isn’t consistent with the record.

I didn’t.

I said we could have won the title without them having bizarrely outlying performances.

We weren’t going to lose to the Sixers or Cavs, for instance, if OG only had a 2.0 bpm. We just would have beaten them in 6 or 7 close games instead of completely lopsided sweeps.

We don’t need OG to post a 9.4 bpm to win the title. We need it to go 16-3 with a net rating of 15.5.

But the Pacers almost won a title with a net rating of 2.0. We can manage that with OG and KAT playing like they regularly do..

Seems like an interesting film. How’s the rest of the trilogy? Do you need to watch all three to get the most outgoing of Dreams? Reading a brief description it sounds like more of a conceptual trilogy than one that shares a storyline

I haven’t watched the other two yet, and going to do so soon. Yes, it’s a conceptual trilogy. There’s something about the two Norwegian films and one series I watched recently, that they center directly on feelings and relationships inside a community or family but they’re not indie or provincial. Rather they have something American movies used to have for me, coming from a chaotic country, until a generation ago, a solid, safe world you always want to go back to. A sense of we are the center. I think it’s beautiful.
