I don’t think a lot of the Knicks moves were “leaked”. I think to a large extent sharp basketball people (including here) looked at the team, knew what the Knicks needed, identified the perfect players, Leon identified the same players and then slowly accumulated them.

Everyone knows we are looking for quality backup C. They ideally probably want someone developed enough to contribute now, young enough to stick around as a core player longer than a year and better than Drummond. The issue is identifying someone that might be available and who/what to trade to get him.
